Are vaccinations required?

Answer

Yes, vaccinations will be required to attend. (Currently, being 'fully vaccinated' means having both doses of the vaccine, but we will update you all should this change.) Please send a copy of your vaccination to henahandjovanni@gmail.com before April 1, 2022.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we have a Registry here on our website with our updated shipping address, but your presence is all the gift we need! Should you be interested in gift options, we kindly request no boxed gifts in-person please, as they will be difficult to transport back to California. Thank you for your understanding!

When do you recommend arriving to/departing from New Orleans?

Answer

If possible, we recommend arriving on Friday during the day to maximize your time here. The ceremony is on Saturday, with a welcome event on Friday evening and a goodbye event on Sunday morning. *We understand travel and schedule restrictions, so no worries! We're just happy to have you there.

When should we book our accommodations?

Answer

The earlier, the better. The NCAA Final Four tournament is unfortunately scheduled for the same day as our wedding, and prices will skyrocket if you wait too long. A typical short-term rental for this time of year for 2 people is around $90-$150/night. Because public transportation is so accessible, we do not recommend renting a car. Save that money for the food. ;)

What's the weather this time of year?

Answer

Typically, days in early April are between 75-85 degrees, with evening temperatures between 60-80. We recommend bringing plenty of layers, as you'll definitely be warm.

Is the ceremony inside or outside?

Answer

Pending the Weather Gods' blessing (please pray for sun!), the ceremony will take place outdoors at sunset in the garden courtyard, followed by an outdoor second line parade. The reception will take place indoors.
