Hotel
We've secured a group rate at The Hyatt Centric -Wall Street, located in NYC's oldest neighborhood. Wall Street is right in the midst of the Financial District, and steps away from the Brooklyn Bridge, Battery Park (where Statue of Liberty ferries dock), South Street Seaport, and the 9/11 Memorial. It's a 15-20 minute subway ride (via the 1, 2, or A) or a 12-15 minute car ride to the venue. The bride and groom are staying here!

If shopping is on your NYC itinerary, consider the SoHo 54 hotel. Coming in at our most affordable, this hotel puts you steps away from what some locals are calling the new Times Square, the SoHo district. It's also just a 10 minute walk to the venue.

Consider Four Points by Sheraton if you value walkability to the venue and you don’t mind a cozy room at a slightly higher price point. Located just 3 blocks from the venue and just off the 1 train, enjoy strolling through Greenwich Village, with its charming brownstones, boutiques and restaurants.

Flight
Unless you're staying in New Jersey, we recommend flying into LGA or JFK, but travel times from the various airports are relatively the same to the lower Manhattan.
Rental Car
If you prefer gazing at the sights through the comforts of a car, we recommend downloading the Uber or Lyft apps to call for a ride. It's a good idea to have on hand for emergencies anyhow. If you dare to take Manhattan in your own car (we do sometimes), it's fun!!, just be prepared to search (and pay) for parking.
Train
Most locals and visitors alike use NYC's public transportation, the MTA, to get around the city. For $2.75/ride, you can get most anywhere, and transfers from line to line are usually free. You can purchase a 7-day unlimited pass for $33, preload a desired amount, or pay as you go. Maps and ticket kiosks are available in every station! We are getting married at Houston Hall, located at 222 West Houston Street in the West Village of Manhattan. Take the 1 to Houston Street Station, or the A, C, E, B, D, F train to West 4th Street - Washington Square Station. If you have any and all questions about using the MTA while you are here, we'd be more than happy to map out a train plan for you so you know exactly where you are going.
