What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal or cocktail attire.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The cocktail hour and wedding ceremony will take place outdoors, weather permitting. Dinner and dancing will take place indoors.

Question

When should I arrive? When will the party end?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 6:00 p.m. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:15 p.m. and we welcome you to come around then to get to know all of our favorite people before the ceremony. The last dance will take place between 11:00 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. We ask that you let our wonderful vendors clean up after 11:15 p.m.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is complementary parking at the venue.

Have you reserved a hotel block?

Answer

The venue we have chosen is not far from Minneapolis in the hopes that local guests won't have to reserve a hotel room! However, La Pointe does have a campground on site that you can reserve. If you are interested in this option, please let us know before August 1st so that we can provide you with more details about how to reserve a site. The campsites will be released to the public on August 13th. If you opt for a hotel room, Stillwater is an adorable, nearby town with many historic hotels. Otherwise, we'd also love for you to see our hometown if you're traveling and choose to stay in the Twin Cities! Check out the "Things To Do" page for recommendations in both areas.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We ask that you please turn off your phones and cameras for the ceremony but we promise to share the professional photos with you! Please feel free to take photos during the reception and post them to social media if you'd like - just tag us so we can also see the fun!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we adore your children, we respectfully request that you leave your little ones at home for the evening and make it a date night instead. However, we would love to celebrate at home with you and your kids in the weeks after the wedding! If you have a baby under a year old, please feel free to bring them along.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

The bar will be hosted for a portion of the evening and will switch to a cash bar later on.

Where should I mail a gift?

Answer

If you choose to purchase a gift, you can have it delivered to 4254 Pleasant Avenue, Minneapolis MN 55409. We also have many experiential gift options listed in the honeyfund section of the "registry" tab or at https://www.honeyfund.com/site/BenandJosephine2024. Please do not feel obligated to purchase a substantial gift for us - your presence is a gift in itself!
