Matron of Honor
Brittney has been Jordynn's absolute best friend since they were 3 years-old. They have shared so much over the (almost!) 3 decades that they have been friends. On September 29th, 2018, Jordynn had the pleasure of being Brittney's Maid of Honor at her wedding. This year, Brittney is honoring Jordynn by being her Matron of Honor, and finally fulfilling a promise they made to each other when they were just little kids.
Paige Mazur
Bridesmaid
Paige is Jordynn's twin sister. In 2017, Jordynn had the honor of being a bridesmaid in Paige’s wedding, and just like every major life event in their lives, they will be together to share another incredibly special moment. Paige is always there in Jordynn’s time of need with suggestions and advice, and Jordynn could not have asked for a better twin.
Quinn Zusy
Bridesmaid
The brides little sister; Quinn is an absolute goofball, but we wouldn't have it any other way. She brings laughter and smiles wherever she goes. Being serious is not a character trait for Quinn, but honestly that is what makes her so great. These traits have also helped her claim a coveted spot for Bro Trips.
Zahra Zavery
Bridesmaid
This bubbly lady is Jordynn's soon-to-be sister-in-law. Early on in Jordynn and Murtaza’s relationship, Zahra and Jordynn become fast friends. Zahra is always there for advice, and Jordynn happily returns the favor. The two of them get along incredibly well and enjoy picking on Taza (lovingly, of course!)
Chris Crippen
Best Man
Murtaza met Chris working at Techwell in 2012. They ended up renting a house together with other friends for a few years. Their numerous shared interests always give them something to talk about, whether it be games, engineering, or his adorable dog Coco. Chris has been such a large part of Jordynn and Murtaza’s life in Rochester that Murtaza knew he would want Chris to be his best man. Maybe someday they will start that project they’re always talking about...
Ed Chung
Groomsman
A former manager of Jordynn’s at Barnes & Noble, Ed is the master planner for parties and barbeques for the group of friends she made there. In recent times, Murtaza and Jordynn have joined Ed and others to participate in events in Pokemon Go. Now, Ed will be able to stand with the couple as they take another step in their life-long adventure.
Travis Mazur
Groomsman
Murtaza and Travis went to high school together and had several mutual friends, but did not know each other well. With Travis dating and eventually marrying Jordynn’s twin sister, there were several opportunities for them to create a friendship. Travis' goofiness compliments Murtaza's personality, creating hilarious dialogue between the two of them. As Murtaza served as a groomsman in Travis’s wedding, Travis is honored to return the favor.
Mike Berwaldt
Groomsman
Murtaza also met Mike through work, but he didn’t meet him in person for several months. While Mike also attended RIT (albeit several years before Murtaza did), he decided to move to Seattle to enjoy the scenic Pacific Northwest. Mike occasionally visits Rochester to visit friends and family, and typically gets dragged into work. He and Murtaza have developed a reputation for seeking out exciting lunch spots when Mike is in town. Murtaza looks forward to having Mike at his side for his and Jordynn’s wedding.
