Dear Friends and Family, With every passing day, the hope and joy of spending a day with you to celebrate our marriage becomes more of a reality and we cannot wait to see all of your faces gathered together. It will be emotional for all of us, as just a year ago, it seemed as though it would never be possible. Our reception venue, The Barn at Power's, is following all CDC recommended guidelines for Covid-19. Guests who are fully vaccinated do not need to wear a mask. Proof of vaccination will not be required or asked for. If you or your family are more comfortable wearing a mask while not seated at your table, please feel free to do so. Thank you so much for stopping by our wedding website. We look forward to seeing and celebrating with you all! Lots of Love, Jordynn & Murtaza
Taza- "I met this goofy girl named Jordynn back in the halcyon days of middle school, and we met because we had classes together, specifically Orchestra (where we both played the Cello), and German class. Throughout our middle school and high school careers, Jordynn and I shared many memories, mostly hilarious happenings that involved 10th grade and 11th grade history classes. We lost touch after we graduated high school. A few years later, Jordynn reached out to me on Facebook and invited me to her 20th birthday party. One thing led to another, and we started dating. After a few years of long distance, and many many many miles and hours of driving, we moved in together and made Rochester our new home." Jordynn- "We met in Orchestra in 6th grade, where we became stand partners. It was probably due to seating in alphabetical order. I didn't really know anyone else there but he seemed really nice, so I didn't mind. We went to different middle schools, but we always had Orchestra together and sometimes a German class. Taza became one of my best guy friends and as we grew up together, I considered him to be like a fun-loving brother. We would joke around and pick on each other, and I knew I could count on him to make me laugh if I was having a bad day. When we started high school, we saw each other more often and we always had Homeroom together. Taza actually sat in front of me due to alphabetical order striking again! After high school, we sadly lost contact. When I found him on Facebook one day, I friend requested him. I was so upset that he always ignored my instant messages, but he was quick to tell me that he would have responded if he received them. I apparently had written his AOL Instant Messenger name down incorrectly! I ended up inviting him to my 20th birthday party, and we continued to stay in touch. A few months later we started going out, and the rest is history. August 17th, 2020 will be 10 years to the day of our first date."
