Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is at Firefly Lane in Dickson, Tennessee. 1464 Big Bartons Creek Rd Dickson, TN 37055. It is located about 50 miles away from Nashville.

I googled your venue and see that there are two venues at Firefly Lane. Which one is yours?

Answer

We will be getting married in the enchanted forest and the reception will be held in the barn.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi formal. With that being said, we want you to be comfortable in your own clothes. Guys, you do not have to wear a tie if you don’t want to. Ladies, you also don’t have to dress to the nine. Wear whatever is comfortable for you, but please leave the jeans at home!

Is your wedding unplugged?

Answer

For those unfamiliar with the term “unplugged” wedding, it’s simply where couples don’t want you to use your phones, cameras, or recording devices. When our ceremony starts, we ask that you please put your devices away, silence them, and enjoy this time with us. Be in the moment instead of behind a phone screen. We do not want to walk down the isle with cameras in our faces. Once we are down the isle, please feel free to take as many as you want. During the reception, we will gladly take a selfie with you and be apart of your snap chat story! Please use our hashtag #WonOverWhittaker on all of your social media posts!

Is there cellphone service at the venue?

Answer

There is no service at the venue unless you have Verizon. You have no choice but to have fun and dance instead of playing on your phones all night. Please be sure to put in the address to the venue before hand if you are using a phone. We will provide instructions on how to leave the venue in case you can’t pull up GPS on your phone. There is a landline in case of emergencies or if you need to make a call for any reason.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We will specify on your invitation how many seats we have reserved for you. Please do not bring someone or an extra someone if we did not provide a seat for them. If you decide to do so, please tell them to BYOBCF (bring your own beer, chair, and food)

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is plenty of parking and also someone who will park for you to make it easier to get in and out when you decide to leave.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

You are responsible for your own ride. The venue is roughly 20 minutes from downtown Dickson where all of the hotels are located.

I have a food allergy or a diet restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely. Please message Jordin personally if you do have an allergy or are on a special diet. Zach will forget and we don’t need you passing out.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

It wouldn’t be a proper wedding without a little alcohol to get you dancing. We will say however, do not get belligerently drunk! No one likes that person and you don’t need to embarrass yourself during this happy time.

What is the weather like in October?

Answer

Tennessee October’s are very unpredictable. They are normally mild. We suggest bringing a jacket just in case it gets chilly during the night.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we are registered at Amazon and Target. A donation to our honeymoon so we can truly experience Ireland is also an option we would greatly appreciate.
