The Adventure Begins!

It was in AP French in 2010 that Libby and Jon first met, where he sat in front of her. Soon he would realize this was the perfect spot to be the victim of several pranks pulled by Libby (we can chalk it up to playful flirting!). After Libby transferred schools, she was anonymously asked to prom with a note on a soccer ball, flowers, and no idea who asked her. Eventually, several somewhat awkward conversations later, Libby discovered it was none other than Jon! A week after the promposal, they enjoyed their first date, and the rest, as they say, is history!

Between Christmas and New Years 2017, Jon and Libby went on a road trip to Kanab, Utah, to volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society (where Blondie was from). One morning, before their volunteer shift, Jon dragged Libby out of bed to drive to Zion National Park. Despite the freezing weather, they hiked a beautiful trail filled with waterfalls. At the end of the hike, Jon took Libby to a gushing stream to admire the park's beauty. As they sat down by the water, Jon got down on one knee and asked Libby to spend the rest of her life with him!
