FAQs

You might have some questions, so hopefully we've got answers! Should any more questions arise, please feel free to reach out to the bride or groom.
Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we'd love to have little ones at the event, we are keeping this an adults-only wedding. If you are staying for the weekend, Charlottesville is a very family-friendly place. Please reach out if you need guidance on childcare for the wedding day!

Question

Where do I park for the Welcome Party?

Answer

Enter the parking lot via 1837 Broadway St. Follow signs for "Dine In" and "The Broad Cloth". Walk down the stairs on the left. You should see The Broad Cloth restaurant on your right coming down the stairs.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You should arrive at Eastwood Winery no later than 4:00PM. There is a shuttle that will be taking guests to the top of the mountain where the ceremony is, so we need to allow for time to get guests to where they need to be.

Question

Is there parking for the Wedding Ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at Eastwood Winery in their overflow lot. You are also welcome to leave your car there over night however you need to pick it up by 10 AM the next day. We are also providing a shuttle service. See times and locations below... 3:00 PM @ the bus station on W Water Street in front of the Omni Hotel 3:20 PM @ the Sleep Inn & Suites on 5th Street 3:25 PM @ the Holiday Inn - Monticello on 5th Street 3:40 PM @ the Holiday Inn - Monticello on 5th Street

Question

Are there COVID-19 restrictions?

Answer

In light of the current pandemic, we are requesting that all guests are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the time of the wedding (10/21/22). It is not a bad idea to plan to bring proof of vaccination, as locations in Charlottesville may require it. We recognize this is an evolving situation, & we plan to align our event with CDC guidance as the situation unfolds. Please reach out to the bride or groom with any foreseeable issues.
