I graduated from Ball State University in the spring of 2021 with a degree in Secondary English Education, and I now teach high school English at Muncie Central High School. I love creating new playlists on Spotify, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, and watching documentaries and Netflix dramas. Yes, I do take requests, no I don't ship. Just don't mention "no-bake cheesecakes" and consult your therapist if you begin to feel the inclination. The last and most important thing I am passionate about is Jesus, and I will wholeheartedly recommend "The Chosen" until your eyes glaze over. I've recently learned my only true love is the mountains of Colorado, so I'm so glad that Joe and Bethany have each also found their true love. Hey all! My name is Haven Robart. I have worked as a nurse in St. Louis for 2 years and am currently working in the NICU at St. Louis Children's Hospital. I have known both Bethany and Joe for over 11 years. Although Bethany and I only lived in the same state for one year, we became close friends and have driven countless miles to see each other--even for 5 hours at a time. We have bonded over many shared experiences, including Bible quizzing, moving pains, long-distance relationships in a pandemic-ridden world, and now engagement. I'm excited to embark on the engagement and wedding planning process and learn and grow together!

Hey! My name is Rebecca. I met Bethany in our first year of college when we shared a class and would complain about the prof together. That has become the basis of our relationship--venting to each other, since we are both verbal processors. In my free time, I love over-analyzing my favorite books, movies, and TV shows, and I have been thinking about starting a YouTube channel to put my ideas somewhere other than the void. I am interested in going into library work as a career, or at least until my YouTube career takes off. In all seriousness, I would love to be a librarian someday, and I am excited about what the future holds for me.

I’m Pastor Julie Gray, and I have the privilege of officiating the wedding for Bethany and Joe. I’ve known both of them since they were wee-ones at their first Bible Quiz National competition (in Spring Arbor, MI I believe???). For many years they were the competitors who gave my kids a run for their money…and eventually grew to become great friends. It is always a delight to see the kids around you grow into adults you really like. It was not a surprise when Bethany and Joe’s relationship began to shift from simple friendship into something more. It is my privilege to be part of not only their big day but their even bigger future.

Hi! My name is Scotch. I entered Joe and Bethany's life in August of 2021 and have been stealing attention ever since. I'm a smart little cookie which makes me a stinker when it comes to following orders (I only obey when they suit me). Walks are cool, and runs with my pink, squeaky ball are better. But playing catch is my favorite. Although I can be a bit aloof to most new people, I'm a family animal and need to be involved in everything.
