Joe and Bee both joined Hinge (a dating app) in 2019. Bee was looking for free dinners and Joe was looking for new friends. Joe asked Bee to dinner (score!) at the Sitting Duck in Trumbull, CT. After dinner, the waitress asked if they wanted to stay and play trivia. Since both are overly competitive and smart, they decided to give it a shot and the team "Irish Goodbye" was formed. During the movie poster round, Joe took care of ALL the movie posters while Bee took lead during the music round. Unfortunately, extra points were given to those who followed the restaurant on Facebook, putting them out of reach of winning so they decided to leave before winners were announced. No point in staying if you can't win. After more dates, a few weeks later Joe asked Bee to be his girlfriend!

Not long after the ring traveled to Ireland and back in Joe's suitcase (Bee had no idea!) he suggested they take a hike up Mount Falcon. Bee was suspicious of everything so she put on make up and earrings before the trek up this mountain. At the top, they had the lookout spot to themselves so they enjoyed the views before Joe got down on one knee and asked Bee to marry him! Of course she said YES and cried a little. On the way down she was so excited to hear about his other plans and hiding spots for the ring. In the end, it couldn't have been more perfect. We are so excited to celebrate with you all in Denver!
