What are the COVID-19 requirements for Aldie Mansion? (Last updated: 9/17/21)

Answer

All guests are required to follow the guidelines set forth by the Aldie Mansion while attending our ceremony and reception. Unvaccinated guests are currently required to wear masks while indoors. Masks may be removed while outdoors or while seated at dinner. Masks are optional for vaccinated individuals whether indoors or outdoors. With variants on the rise, please get vaccinated prior to the wedding to protect yourself and other guests. We thank you for your cooperation in regards to the Aldie Mansion's current requirements. Guidelines are subject to change. Please check back for updates! Please note: Masks are required at all times on the shuttles.

What's for Dinner?

Answer

Guests may choose meal selections from the following entrées. Please indicate your preference on your RSVP card and inform us of any dietary restrictions. ROAST FILET OF BEEF: With a cabernet emulsion and seasonal farm-to-table starch and vegetables. CHICKEN NORMANDY: Breast of chicken sautéed and simmered in a calvados and white wine sauce with seasonal farm-to-table starch and vegetables. VEGAN "CHICKEN" PARMESAN: A vegan take on the traditional breaded chicken parmesan dish with homeade tomato sauce, vegan cheese, and seasonal farm-to-table starch and vegetables.

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5:30 pm, but we suggest arriving around 5 p.m.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Shuttles will be available for hotel guests. Shuttles depart from the hotel between 4:15–4:30 p.m. After 4:30 p.m. guests will be responsible for their own transportation to the ceremony. Shuttles will also be available to transport guests back to the hotel. We hope you stay and dance the night away until the last dance!

Masks are required at all times on the shuttles. - 4:30 pm from hotel to Aldie Mansion - 9:15 pm from Aldie to hotel - 11:15 pm from Aldie to hotel

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Let's get fancy! Attire will be Formal/Cocktail. Cocktail dresses, suits, or slacks and blazers/suit jackets with a tie. (No jeans or shorts please) but we want you to feel comfortable. If those shoes are too high, find something else you feel great in!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! This will be an adult-only affair.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, Aldie Mansion has a free parking lot for both ceremony and reception.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we prefer to give double the love to you! (While we'd love to accommodate everyone, we do have a limited seat count at our venue.) Thank you in advance for understanding.
