Ceremony

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

St Andrew the Apostle Church
505 Kingston Drive, Romeoville, IL 60446

Black-Tie Optional: Tuxes with bowties and floor-length gowns are preferred, but suits and formal cocktail dresses or slacks and a nice blouse are welcome too.

Please be seated by 12:50 PM. Silence your phone before entering the church. Our ceremony is in a Catholic church, so keep that in mind when choosing your attire. Feel free to wear the same outfit to the ceremony as the reception. Typically shoulders and knees should be covered, while hats should be removed when entering the church. Tuxes with bowties and floor-length gowns are preferred, but suits and formal cocktail dresses are welcome too. Our ceremony will be bilingual (Polish & English) and will incorporate some Polish traditions, but this link gives a general idea of what a Catholic wedding ceremony looks like with a mass - https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-ideas/catholic-wedding-ceremony Photography and video recording is allowed in the church, but please turn off your flash and respect the sacred spaces in the church. Do not stand on the sanctuary or behind the altar. There is a restroom inside the church. Free self-parking is onsite.

Reception Ball

Sat, Jul 6, 2024, 6:30 pm - Sun, Jul 7, 2024, 2:00 am

Black-Tie Optional: Tuxes with bowties and floor-length gowns are preferred, but suits and formal cocktail dresses or slacks and a nice blouse are welcome too.

Our Reception Ball begins with cocktails and conversation at 6:30 PM. Come thirsty, as it's an open bar evening! After toasts, we'll have family style Polish dinner served to each table. Please include any dietary restrictions or allergies in the notes when you RSVP. If you really like something they serve (like a meat or a side dish), you can ask your server to bring more of it to your table! We'll have a mix of Polish and American wedding traditions at our reception with a Regency era ball theme (think Bridgerton). We'll have a variety of music and dances- including ballroom, Latin, disco polo, Polonez, hits from the 80s and 90s, plus contemporary tunes. So practice the waltz, watch some tutorial videos on the traditional Polish Polonez dance or remind yourself of the the moves to the Macarena! Bring comfortable shoes to change into so you can dance the night away- we've got the hall and DJ until 2 AM! Free self-parking is onsite. Photography and video recording is encouraged!
