Joanna & Eric Are Getting Married
    Q&A

Q&A

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

RSVP online as soon as you can and no later than June 15, 2021, to ensure we have an accurate headcount. Your prompt replies prior to the RSVP deadline are greatly appreciated. You can RSVP online the link provided in your email. If you have any trouble RSVPing, please reach out to Eric or Joanna.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list for health and safety reasons. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. When you RSVP online, you will be able to see if you have a plus one listed.

Question

What will the weather be like in Miami this time of year?

Answer

Summer in Miami is hot and humid.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Moore Building in Miami. There is paid valet parking at the venue. Shuttles will provide transportation from the Hilton Garden Inn to The Moore Building at 3:00 PM and will return to the Hilton Garden Inn at 11:00 PM.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors!

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes! Please contact us ahead of time; we are happy to accommodate special diets.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Guests who do not take the shuttle can take advantage of The Moore Building's valet parking for $5.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

The bride and groom would love for you to take all the photos you want during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. However, please ensure that all photographers and videographers are able to get the sacred ceremonial shots without cell phones and arms blocking their view. When you take and post photos and videos, use the hashtag: #GriffinPartyof3 and #GriffinEverAfter.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Throw on your best gowns and suits. Our wedding is formal/black tie attire. A tuxedo isn't required, but the event is still formal enough for one to be appropriate. Suits are a must for the gentlemen. A long evening dress, dressy suit or formal cocktail-length dress is perfect for women.

Question

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

The bride kindly asks that guest do not wear white to any of the Friday or Saturday wedding weekend events.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are so excited to get married and we cannot wait to have everyone we love, in one place, for the entire weekend. Your presence is truly a gift! We're lucky to already have a home full of everything we need, but if you insist, please enjoy browsing our wish list, where you can contribute to our dream honeymoon!

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Feel free to call/text Eric or Joanna!
