Our Wedding

We met up for the first time at a Mexican Restaurant in Raleigh and had a great time. Then, we went to Parlour Icecream Shop after a long day of work and, afterwards, we both decided to visit the 21C Museum in Durham. And it just clicked. He made up his own interpretation to the art, and so did I. There were laughs. We didn't want to leave. That's when we thought, "We could choose to be 'stuck' with each other forever!" 😃

First comes 21C, then comes marriage.

How We Met

On the day I got back from visiting my family in the Bahamas, we went back to Downtown Durham for dinner. After dinner, we walked over to 21C to visit the latest art exhibit. While we were making up our own interpretations of the exhibits, Eric walked a couple of paces behind me. When I wondered why he was so quiet, I looked behind me and he was down on one knee. I screamed, laughed, shouted "YES," and we were engaged.
