Bridgetender Tavern and Grill
One of our favorite Tahoe City riverside dining spots, The Bridgetender offers casual (indoor and) outdoor sips and eats among Tahoe's towering pines and provides wonderful views of the Truckee River. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with patio dining options, 15 beers on draught and the best burgers and bloody marys in Lake Tahoe.
Aerial Tram
Take a scenic Aerial Tram ride with views of stunning Lake Tahoe while climbing over 2,000 ft in elevation! This panoramic 10-minute ride soars above the iconic Tram Face, offering stunning mountain vistas and beautiful views of Lake Tahoe itself, ending at Squaw Valley's High Camp. High Camp is located at 8,200 feet above sea level.
Palisades Tahoe to Lake Tahoe Bike Rental
Start your leisurely journey in Palisades Tahoe and ride along the Truckee River all the way down to the sparkling blue waters of Lake Tahoe for a perfect summer vacation activity (35mins). Safely separated from Route 89, the bike path runs parallel to the river and provides a scenic way to tour the Tahoe area. Bike Rentals is located at Parallel Mountain Sports in The Village at Palisades Tahoe located next to the Aerial Tram building.
Skylandia State Park & Beach
Where we got engaged! *Bear Sighting Alert* This park has the best of Tahoe: pines, beaches, a pier, and shaded picnic tables where you can BYO snacks, lunch, and drinks to enjoy right on the water. Note: Parking can be tough.
