It all started in 2016 when Alyssa started her first job working at Pelicans; the minute she walked in, Jimmy laid eyes on her and asked his buddy, "hey, whos that girl." He then talked with her and complimented her when she came in for her shifts. He would leave handwritten notes saying," You look beautiful today, sparkles" on a bar napkin at the host stand for her to see. That spark between them kept growing throughout many adventurous dates. Jimmy and Alyssa supported each other throughout the years. The two ended up in an apartment together in 2018. Life, timing, and God's plan turned them in different directions. Three years went by...They both grew into adults and learned so much about life and what they wanted out of it. Neither of them has looked back since, growing their love for each other daily and learning about the person they have both grown into.

God knew they were ready. They decided to take a family vacation to Walt Disney World, having a blast and clueless about what was about to happen. The day before the proposal, the family had gone to Walmart to get some snacks, and suddenly, Jimmy's nerves kicked in. He had gone to the clothes section to look at shirts when he had packed a suitcase full of outfits. He had picked two shirts and was so frustrated because he couldn't pick one. He stated he was trying to find the perfect shirt, and Alyssa told him, "babe, why are you going to get a nice shirt? You're just going to be sweating." later that night, they ended up leaving with lots of snacks, and Jimmy's shirt he was so worried about. June 9, 2021... Walking down towards the castle, we decided to take a family picture; as soon as that last photo was taken, Alyssa was preparing to walk away. Jimmy grabbed her hand, got down on one knee, and said, "Baby will you Marry me." with so much joy, they both started to cry, and she said, "YEEEESSSS," surrounded by their family; they all celebrated.
