Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

There is no set dress code for the wedding! We look forward to seeing everyone's personal styles but most importantly, don't forget your dancing shoes! Jackets for men are recommended; ties are optional.

What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 3:45pm to find your seat at the ceremony. We will begin promptly at 4PM and the cathedral floors are non-forgiving to those who may be scurrying into the ceremony late. Please account for traffic on a summer Friday evening as all roads leading to the city, and the city itself, can get heavily congested.

Where do I park for the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

CEREMONY: If you are driving to the ceremony and reception, please leave time in your travel plan to park on the street or in a local public parking garage for the ceremony. The Cathedral parking lot is not available until 5PM on Fridays (when our ceremony ends) so please do not park there. Each spot is reserved for the surrounding businesses, and they told us they do tow cars. There are plenty of local garages if you do not want to park on the street. We were assured that there has never been an issue with parking. If you are not staying in the hotel and utilizing their parking garages, here are some suggested parking garages close by: LOGAN SQUARE PARKING Address: 1815 Cherry St, Philadelphia, PA 19103 (4 min walk to Cathedral - Right behind the Logan Philadelphia) GATEWAY PARKING GARAGE Address: 1540 Vine St, Philadelphia, PA 19102 (6 min walk to Cathedral - Behind the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown) *Note - Street Parking is also available in this location but you may not park in front of the Cathedral. RECEPTION: Once the ceremony is over, please make your way to Water Works by Cescaphe (640 Waterworks Drive, Street Level, Philadelphia, PA 19130) where the staff will be valeting your car and securing the parking lot for the entirety of the reception.

Will there be transportation from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! The Cescaphe Trolley will be picking guests up for the ceremony. Please refer to the schedule provided in your Welcome Bag at the hotel to see when the trolley will arrive at your hotel.

Will there be transportation from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

Yes! The Cescaphe Trolley will be available outside of the cathedral for guests to be taken directly to the cocktail hour, which starts at 6PM.

Question

Will there be transportation after the reception to get back to the hotels?

Answer

Yes, the Cescaphe Trolley will be taking guests back to the hotels from Water Works at the end of the reception.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes - There are ramps and an elevator available at the Cathedral and Water Works as well as easy access to bathrooms.

Question

Is there an after party?

Answer

There will be an informal after party with a cash bar for everyone that wants to keep the party going at the Logan Hotel lobby bar or at Assembly Rooftop Bar on the rooftop of the hotel. This depends on space/availability that night!
