There are MANY lovely short-term rentals in the area through AirBnB. This is an especially good way to go if a few couples or a group would like to share a house together. Recommended Neighborhoods: Big Bear Lake (ideally, close to "The Village"), Boulder Bay, Lower Moonridge Not Recommended Neighborhoods: Sugarloaf, Fawnskin, Big Bear City. (Essentially you do NOT want to stay on the north side of the lake or east of Moonridge).
