Due to the popularity of this area in the summer, we recommend that you book your accommodations as soon as possible. The Colony Hotel will be the center of gravity for the weekend - Since The Colony is now completely sold out, we'd recommend staying within walking distance from The Colony if possible. If you'd like to be placed on the room waitlist, please call The Colony at 207 967 3331 and request a room with the 'Friot Mathews Wedding'. The online booking system will show as 'sold out', please call to reserve.

Boston Logan Airport - or - Portland International Jetport

Guests flying to the wedding have two great options: Boston Logan Airport (BOS) - or - Portland International Jetport (PWM) Whether you choose to fly to Boston or Portland, you're sure to find beauty upon landing and along your drive to Kennebunkport. Please continue reading if you are trying to decide which airport to fly into. BOSTON Boston is an easy 1.5 hour drive without traffic to Kennebunkport. It's approximately 90 miles. This gives a great opportunity to fly directly to Boston from Memphis or other major airports and enjoy a ride up the coast. Every weekend throughout the summer there is traffic between Boston and Maine. If you're arriving on Friday or Saturday, please allow extra time. We strongly encourage arriving Thursday to avoid the traffic and enjoy the full festivities with us. There is a direct flight from Memphis to Boston on Thursday. PORTLAND Portland to Kennebunkport, Maine is a 35 minute drive, and approximately 25 miles. There are fewer direct flights to Portland, and no direct flights from Memphis. There will likely be less traffic between Portland and Kennebunkport. Rental cars are available at both airports.

The Colony Hotel is currently completely booked at this time. However, if your heart is set on staying here, we recommend calling The Colony at 207 967 3331 and letting them know you'd like to be placed on their waitlist. You can mention that you are with the "Friot Mathews Wedding". The online reservation system will appear as booked, even if opening occurs. Please call (207 967 3331) for availability.

Mabel's House is one of the closest hotels to the Colony, our wedding venue. It's a lovely Inn and will surely give you the taste of Kennebunkport.

Nonantum Resort Availability for Friday, July 28th - Sunday, July 30th. SOLD OUT for July 27th. The Nonantum is centrally located. It's a short walk to The Colony as well as to Dock Square. It's located along Drakes Island Road, which leads to one of my favorite beaches in the world. This would be a unique rental experience, although not walkable to Kennebunkport. This location is a 20 to 30 minute drive to Kennebunkport and there can be heavy traffic along the way during the summer which can add to the driving time between Wells/Drakes Island and Kennebunkport.
