Getting to know Alex over our many fun dates made me feel like we had known each other our whole lives! Alex is my world, my everything and I can’t imagine life without him! Hello everyone. My name is Alex Hartman and I am the groom. I am very excited for you to join me and Jillian in celebrating our special day. Jillian and I met on a dating app called Hinge. I am forever grateful for Jillian and all that she has introduced me to including her family and friends. She is my rock, my soulmate, and my partner in crime. My life would totally lost without her. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Jillian.

Hi all! My name is Maddie Quickel, Jillian’s Maid of Honor! Jillian and I met in the fourth grade when I moved to Texas and my mom was our teacher. Jillian and I were friends in the fourth and fifth grade, but sixth grade is where our friendship took off and we became inseparable. Ever since we have been the best of friends. Even after going to different high schools and colleges we always stayed in contact and made sure to see each other when we could. Many of my favorite memories have been with Jillian by my side including walking around the mall in middle school, participating in the school talent show together, creating school projects together (I.e., Ulysses), watching our favorite movies in theater over and over again (I.e., Pitch Perfect, Frozen), our trips to L’Auberge, eating at our favorite Mexican restaurant El Gallo, our many sleepovers, hot tubbing and talking, Jillian helping me with school by pretending to be my client, our trip to the Grand Canyon (lopes up), and so many more! I am blessed to have Jillian as my best friend and cannot wait to stand by her side on her and Alex’s special day!

I met Alex (Mr. Hartman should I say, we both have the same first name lol) when we both went to Clear View High School together in our US History class. We would always hang out all the time, and we even worked at Kemah Boardwalk and Space Center Houston together for a bit! Every time we would hang out we would always joke about things and would always have a great time, and I’m very happy that we’re still close friends after almost 7 years! Hartman is truly a great person to be with, and I’m very honored to be his best man! I’m so proud to see Alex and Jillian getting married and become part of the Hartman family!

Jillian and I met when I knew zero English. Our story goes that we spoke through drawings, and the first word that connected us was "Pikachu." In middle school, we created our own tribal dance around the tallest structure on the playground. And when I needed an American host family, Jillian's family became my family, even though I broke their lamp while playing tag with Jillian. (I'm sorry...) Jillian is my sister, my funniest tribe mate, and my friend. I'm so proud to see this beautiful tenth-generation Texan girl getting married!

I'm Alex's older brother and growing up, me and Alex would share the same interests in video games and sports. We enjoyed playing Mario Kart and joking about our parent's devotion to the Nebraska Cornhuskers. After a lifetime together, I'm proud that he found Jillian to be his match in life. I'm looking forward to being by his side on his wedding day.

Jillian…. How did we meet? Freshman year, Marching band. Since we were in different sections, we didn’t hit it off until bowling night when you gave me some competition. From then on we were always together if it was in class since our schedules were almost identical. The band library where all the drama went down. The late night dance parties at your house to Just Dance. Of course, late night Whataburger after marching band. Roommates on every band trip and so many more. Oh, the stories we could tell are endless. Just so nobody brings out the pictures. I’m so excited for you and can’t wait to be there to celebrate with you and Alex on your special day!

Hi, I’m Nash, or more colloquially known as Nashville. I met Alex back in High School, when I was a Freshman at Clear View. He was the first person that came and introduced himself to me. We got to know each other pretty quickly when discovered we had a shared love of Baseball. We used to bring our ball gloves to school, and throw against the wall before class started. We stayed friends after high school, which usually isn’t an easy task, but we had such a great bond that you never would’ve known. Alex has always been like a big brother to me, I’m so glad I’ve been able to have a friend as awesome as him.

Hi I’m Lena one of Jillian’s Bridesmaids. I met Jillian in the 3rd grade at St. Mark. We really quickly became close friends. We would hang out all the time making funny videos and doing just dance. I’m so happy to still be apart of Jillian’s life after all these years. I treasure our friendship so much. We have been there for each other through all our ups and downs. I can’t wait to stand by your side on your big day. Love you bestie. ♥️

I met Jillian and Alex through Lena. I met Jillian first, and instantly understood why she and Lena were such good friends. They’re both quirky, smart, goofy and absolutely chaotic in the best ways. Being around them is genuinely a fun time. I met Alex later and he instantly became a close friend for me. I’m beyond grateful to know such amazing people. I pray for their health and I can’t wait to celebrate their big day with everyone!!

Jillian and I are cousins through my mom’s side and her dad’s side of the family, so we’ve practically known each other our whole lives. I would always see her at our cousins lunch or her birthday parties at her house every year, even when she just wanted to come down for the day. When Jillian was in high school, I remember my parents taking me to a football game to go watch her march in the band and be their mascot. I wanted to always be by Jillian anywhere we went because I thought she was the coolest cousin ever and still is to this day. I’ve always looked up to Jillian like a sister of mine and I am so thankful that she is allowing me to be apart of her special day!

I first met Alex completely by accident after a comedy show Sohee and I attended. Since then, we've hung out at a few other events, including that family trip to Galveston where Alex saved the day by fixing the TV nobody else could. Thanks, Alex!! He's a solid and smart guy who clearly adores Jillian, and they make an awesome couple. Looking forward to getting to know Alex and Jillian even better. Congrats, Alex!
