Please RSVP by February 21st by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above to receive a formal invitation. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend.
You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP *not attending* so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
The wedding ceremony is a full Catholic mass that will promptly begin at 3:00 PM. It would be best to arrive no later than 15 minutes before the start of the mass.
In short, no. Catholics believe that the celebration of the Eucharist is a sign of reality of the oneness of faith, life, and worship. Members of those churches who are not fully united in Catholicism are not admitted to Holy Communion. However, you are invited to approach the priest with your arms crossed over your heart to receive a blessing.
In short, both yes and no. YES, feel free to take as many pictures as you want at the reception. NO, to pictures at the wedding ceremony especially flash photography. It is NOT PERMITTED per church rules as there are relics that are over 400 years old present in the cathedral. Plus wedding ceremonies should always be unplugged. We are having a professional photographer and videographer capture the ceremony in its entirety, and we would hate to see phones in our wedding video (Seriously let's be real no one wants that, so please respect our wishes for photography and videography at the ceremony).
Yes. We are requesting a semi-formal dress attire (Tuxes and gowns are to be worn by wedding party. Suits and cocktail dresses are a must). This is a wedding mass please dress church appropriate.
While we adore your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers. Please make it a date night. We can't wait to celebrate with you! Children of immediate family only please.
Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we request our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
There is plenty of public parking with fees around downtown San Antonio. If you are a guest at a hotel, there will be parking for a fee. It is recommended to valet your vehicle at your hotel and use a ride share app such as Uber or Lyft. If staying in a nearby hotel to the cathedral, the city is very walkable as well.
We try our best to accommodate guests with allergies. There will be gluten sensitive options as well as NO seafood/shellfish products. Allergens may include peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, and soy in main course as well as desserts. *Bride cake WILL contain a TREE NUT flavor*
Texas is hot! But no worries, all events (ceremony and reception) will be indoors.
