The Wedding Website of Jess Murrer and Dan Husband
Firstly, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time and effort to join us on our special day in New York City. We know for some, this will require a lot of travel planning so we are here to help in anyway possible. Please see below recommendations and always feel free to reach out to Dan or Jess for questions or concerns.

Flight

Laguardia Airport

NYC has tons of airports, but LaGuardia is definitely the easiest for domestic flights and is only a short car ride from all hotel and rental suggestions. There is the bus as well as many cab/uber options. LGA is undergoing construction so the pickup locations are constantly changing. Ask an information desk upon arrival.

Flight

JFK Airport

This airport is also an option and about 10 miles further away from Laguardia. Also about 35-40 minutes away from the reception location. Cabs from JFK are a flat rate price while ubers and busses are also an option. Depending on traffic, taking the AirTrain followed by the subway or train can be faster and less expensive. https://www.jfkairport.com/to-from-airport/air-train

Flight

Newark Airport

Flying into Newark, New Jersey is also an option (EWR). It is about 36 miles from the reception location. There are busses that will take you to midtown Manhattan and cabs/uber options are plentiful.

House Or Rental

AirBnb

There are many hotels to chose from, but there's also AirBnb which may be a great option too! You'll be able to have a true NY experience staying with real New Yorkers.

Train

NYC Subway

The NYC subway is usually the fastest and least expensive way to get around the city. NYC traffic can be crazy at times so why not go under it! It may seem confusing at first but feel free to ask any ticket agent at a station for help/directions. From the Lotte Palace or University Club, there are many subway stations nearby that can take you to many different locations. The cost per ride is $2.75 per person no matter how far you go!
