This is one of our favorite spots nearby to get away from the city. We loved it so much we almost had our wedding here. Highly recommend if you're looking for something to do during the day.

Gunpowder Falls State Park
Gunpowder Falls State Park is one of our favorite hiking areas. The Park (hereford Area) has 14 trails in the vicinity, including 14 hiking trails, 14 for walking and 27 for other activities. These trails range from 0.3 to 7 miles in length. The longest trail in Gunpowder Falls State Park (hereford Area) is Gunpowder South Trail (white) a well-known trail measuring 7 miles in total length. The most popular trail is Gunpowder North Trail. Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine
For those looking to take in a little history, have a picnic or work in a jog around a beautiful historic landmark, Fort McHenry is one of our favorites. Grab some lunch at Baba's Mediterranean first and then head here. Gauranteed to be a wonderful afternoon prior to wedding events.
