Meet our crew!

Hailey Parsons

Maid of Honor

I first met Hailey in 2015 at Springfield College during our Summer orientation! We decided to be roommates during our first year, which then turned into six years of living together. Hailey quickly became my best friend and favorite study partner. We stayed attached at the hip all throughout our SC years, if you saw one of us on campus, you saw us both! We even worked together at the campus library! She's known Gavin and me both since 2015, and was an awesome wingwoman at the start of our relationship. She's continued to be a great support through each step of our journey, and is an incredible friend. She recently moved to Jacksonville, FL, but she has been the best with long-distance planning over many FaceTimes and phone calls! We are so fortunate to have Hails as our friend and Maid of Honor!

Ashley Mason

Bridesmaid

Ashley is my childhood best friend, but we are much more like sisters. We've known each other since our youth soccer days (at age 6!), but our friendship grew immensely when I moved into her neighborhood at the end of fourth grade. We grew up cheerleading, playing soccer and basketball, attending CCD and going to school together (to our dismay, we were never in the same class!). We were always hanging out and carpooling together, and Ashley's parents quickly became like a second set of parents to me. We went to different high schools, different colleges, and now live in different towns, but Ashley's friendship has always been such a strong constant in my life. She is one person who I can tell anything and everything to without fear of judgement. Ash is planning her own wedding, too, and I'm so excited that we get to lean on each other throughout this experience!

Emily Mason Imprescia

Bridesmaid

I've been lucky enough to have Emily in my life since childhood! We grew up on the same street, and have considered each other sisters since our elementary school days. Many of the best memories I have as a kid center around our time together- playing soccer, riding our bikes, swimming in the Summer, riding the bus together to name a few. Like me, Emily works in the medical field. Due to our similar schedules, we often get to see each other on random weekdays off, and we have the best time no matter what we're doing! Whether we're paint shopping, grabbing coffee, or going to wedding dress alteration appointments, we talk and laugh the day away. Our friendship has always been so easy, and Em has always been one of the kindest and most important people in my life. I was honored to stand by Emily's side last year when she married her husband, Zach, and am now incredibly blessed to have her stand by mine!

Kayla Kohanski

Bridesmaid

Kay and I have been friends since our first year at Springfield College in 2015! We were both on the Campus Activities Board and met there. We grew closer throughout freshman and sophomore year, then ended up living together for junior year, senior year, and graduate school. Kayla is literal sunshine walking around. Her natural cheerfulness and positivity radiate, and just being around her will instantly put me in a better mood. She is also the BEST listener, and my go-to-girl when I need advice or just to vent. Kayla, Gavin and I all went to a conference for Campus Activities Board during junior year, and this was right before G and I started dating. Kayla recognized the spark instantly and she has been one of the biggest supporters of our relationship since the beginning! We have such a wonderful friend in Kayla, and I couldn't imagine our wedding day without having her by my side through it all (especially during the Taylor Swift songs)!

Abigail Jepson

Bridesmaid

I am so excited to have Abigail, my soon-to-be sister-in-law, standing with me as my bridesmaid! Abigail and Gavin's mom told me that when she first brought Abigail home from the hospital as a baby, Gavin tried biting her in the face as his first reaction to her. Thankfully, we are long past those days, and both of us are incredibly grateful for her support and love through this process. Gavin is one of five siblings, so going to their house and getting to know everyone was intimidating at the beginning. Abigail has always made me feel welcome and included as a member of the family! We got engaged just a few weeks apart, and it's been a lot of fun celebrating these milestones together. Abigail is also an amazing Mama to our niece and flower girl, Elizabeth, and we're really thankful to have them both as part of our wedding day!

Abigail Creamer

Bridesmaid

Abbey, B, Biggie, Ab- the little sister that I never had and always wanted! My life changed for the absolute better when my little brother James started dating Abbey during their sophomore year at Stonehill College. The first time we met, she ran right over to me and gave me a huge hug saying "SISTER!". They've been together for a few years now, but Abbey fits right into our family as if she's always been there. Holidays, family trips, and events are awesome with her around! She is kind, thoughtful, and so much fun to be around. I've relied on her for fashion choices, help putting on fake eyelashes, and plenty of laughs. My favorite memory with Ab is when we were on a sunset sail during a family trip to Aruba. The crew was playing music and this girl was getting down with a group of complete strangers- the life of the party! She was living in the moment and having a blast without taking herself too seriously, and she reminds me to do the same.

Sharon Huang

Bridesmaid

I first met Sharon in 2015 in a seminar at school for the PA program! I essentially inserted myself into her life during sophomore year through mutual friends, and we ended up being roommates for junior year, senior year, and graduate school. Sharon has a warm and kind nature that you cannot help but be drawn to. She has been a voice of reason and calming presence during many moments in my life the past nine years! She is smart, resourceful, witty, and creative. She is so well-balanced, being both a brilliant neurosurgical PA and an insanely talented artist. For my 21st birthday, she gifted me my two favorite paintings in the world, portraits of my childhood beagles Bailey and Brady. We went through a very rigorous and challenging graduate program together, and no matter how stressful life and school may have gotten, Sharon was (and always is) a supportive, kind, and caring friend. We absolutely adore Sharon and are so grateful for her friendship!

Hayley Serpa

Bridesmaid

Hayley aka Bean- my Jersey turned Colorado girl! We became friends during sophomore year of college, and then got to live together for junior year and graduate school! As two stubborn Italian gals, we’ve bonded over a shared love of pasta and red wine. Hayley’s one of the most fun people I know, and my absolute favorite person to dance at the bar with. She moved to Colorado to chase her dreams of living close to the mountains, and I am in awe of her pursuit of happiness and hard work to get there. We don’t get to see each other as much now, but when we’re hanging out, it’s like nothing has ever changed! We’re constantly laughing and having a blast. I’m so blessed to have her as my friend and bridesmaid.

Elizabeth Thomas

Flower Girl

Elizabeth is our one-year-old niece making her debut as flower girl! She has brought so much joy to our lives, and we could not imagine this day without her! We love being this sweet girl’s auntie and uncle.

William Jepson

Ring Bearer

William is our awesome and adorable nephew! He is such a great kid, and always puts a huge smile on our faces. We are honored to have William as our ring bearer.

Janet Skov

Mother of the Bride

MAMA! Anyone who knows me knows that my mom and I have always been so close. When her and my dad told me they were moving to Plymouth, I followed them right to the same town! She has been my greatest support and guide through the past twenty-seven years, and she’s been there for us as a couple, too. My mom loved Gavin from the beginning, and took him right into the family. She was the first person who we FaceTimed from Punta Cana when we got engaged! She jumped right into planning with us too- from venue tours, to dress shopping, to playlist creating, I can count on her for everything. She has always worked so hard, and has been the best role model for my brothers and me. This is such a special time, and sharing in the joy and excitement with my mom has been a blessing! I love this lady so much, and I can’t wait to be out on the dance floor with her.

Jean-Pierre Skov

Father of the Bride

Father of the bride, none other than my dad! He was the first one to know that Gavin would be proposing. This happened, of course, at a time that he was helping us out. He was driving with Gavin to pick up a new washer/dryer when ours broke, and that was when Gavin asked for his blessing. He’s always quick to offer us a hand or word of advice, regardless of what we need. I’m so thankful for my dad, and so happy to have him celebrating our wedding with us!

Melissa Jepson

Mother of the Groom

My mom has always been a fan of Jessie's even before we started dating. During our junior year of college while I was home for winter break I was showing my mom a presentation that Jessie and I were both in for a conference. My mom paused the video and asked who this girl was and told me I should date her. Unbeknownst to her, Jessie and I had already gone on our first date right before the school break. When she finally met Jessie she loved her right away and told me not to screw it up. She has been so happy for us as we have become homeowners and gotten engaged! She is excited to celebrate our wedding day with us and we are so lucky to have her with us!

David Jepson

Father of the Groom

My dad has been so proud of Jessie and I through the years with graduating PA school, starting our careers, becoming homeowners, and now being engaged. He has been a huge help to us with all his home improvement knowledge. He is always willing to come to our house to lend a hand whether it be to help install a light fixture or demolishing an old shed in our yard. He is always there for us to lend a helping hand and we are excited to celebrate our day with him!

Dylan Derby

Best Man

Dylan has been one of my best friends for over 12 years. We first met through mutual friends during our freshmen year of high school, and the rest is history. Throughout high school, we had all the same classes and played on the same lacrosse team with Coakley. We have been through so much together, starting in high school with having to do school projects of acting out Shakespeare plays, working as a team on our science test while the rest of the class was cheating on their phones, nerding out about anything new related to Marvel, or having in-depth debates about the Celtics and Patriots. He has always been a dependable friend and someone I could rely on for anything. He is someone I could always say anything to without judgment, but he is also not afraid to tell me the truth if he disagrees. We both went to colleges in the same city, so even when we were away for college, we could still hang out and not have to wait for breaks when we were both back home. He was one of the first people I talked to about Jessie when I realized I started having feelings for her and wanted to date her. He was also one of the first people I spoke to when I decided to propose to Jessie. He has been so happy and encouraging of our relationship. He has been there to celebrate with us for our significant accomplishments, such as graduating from PA school, our engagement, and buying our house, so I could not imagine this day without having him as my Best Man!

Nicholas Darling

Best Man

Nick and I met in college and have been best friends ever since. He is the only groomsman who knew Jessie and me both separately and us together. He was first friends with Jessie while attending and then being leaders at Pre-Camp at Springfield College. We became roommates for our senior year by happenstance. My roommates and I needed a couple more people to fill our house. One of them invited Nick, who I had never met, to join us, and the rest is history. Nick and I worked together as June Orientation leaders at school the summer heading into our senior year, and it would have been hard to believe this was the first time we hung out because we immediately were thick as thieves pulling shenanigans, causing havoc, and creating inside jokes. This set the stage for us to hit the ground running during our senior year together, which is when Jessie and I began dating. Nick was one of the happiest people to find out we were dating and one of our biggest cheerleaders from the start. He was always a champion of our individual and relationship accomplishments. He even drove from Buffalo to Springfield when Jessie and I graduated from PA school to celebrate with us and even flew from Buffalo to Plymouth to celebrate us when we bought our house. I told Nick while we were in college that I was going to marry Jessie, so of course, he was one of the first people I told when I was planning the engagement and buying her ring. I couldn't imagine not having him as my Best Man!

Matthew Coakley

Groomsman

Coakley is one of my best friends that I met in high school. During high school, we were in most of the same classes together until Karen kicked you out of her science class and played on the lacrosse team with Dylan. When we were in school, we weren’t the closest of friends, but since graduating from high school, we have gotten much closer and bonded over many things, particularly the Sox. If I can’t get in touch with this guy, I assume he’s at Fenway Park catching a game. He is as loyal a person as I have ever met, and I know I can always rely on him. Even though he works as a police officer doing the overnight shift, he still made time to wake up early to come to our house to help build a shed before his shift started. He is always prepared with a GIF for any moment or a witty comeback to have you doubled over laughing. I am thrilled to have you as a groomsman being by my side when I say “I do.”!

Matthew Jepson

Groomsman

Matthew is my oldest brother. He and I have shared many interests throughout our lives, which we have been able to bond over. Growing up, I always knew if I got stuck in some video game, I could always rely on him to show me how to beat it. Over the past few years, I have watched Matthew become a husband and great father, so I know I can rely on him in the future for advice with parenthood like I could back when we were kids with video games. I am lucky to have him as one of my groomsmen!

Colin Jepson

Groomsman

Colin is one of my older brothers. He is someone I have always looked up to in my life, especially while growing up; whether it was school, sports, friendships, or just being a good person, he was the example I learned from. But because we were so close in age, this admiration often fueled the fire for competition and trying my best to beat him, particularly in sports, which didn't happen often. He has always been a champion of my success. I was lucky enough to be by his side on his wedding day, and I couldn't be more grateful that he will be by mine on my wedding day!

Caleb Jepson

Groomsman

Caleb is my only younger brother and the youngest of the Jepson crew. He is always ready to crack a joke to make a whole room burst out in laughter. He is one of the hardest-working people I know. On top of his full-time career, he will also pick up more plumbing work every weekend. Despite his busy schedule, he is always available and willing to drop whatever he is doing to drive to our house to help us with our plumbing and well water issues. Caleb has saved us numerous times since we have become homeowners, and we can't thank him enough! I am so thankful that you get to be by my side at my wedding!

Justin Skov

Groomsman

Justin is Jessie's older brother and my soon-to-be brother-in-law. He and I have always gotten along since we first met. We have bonded over so many shared interests and can always be in deep discussion about some nerdy topic or Boston sports teams. He has a knack for saying the funniest comment at just the right moment. He has tried to pull the protective older brother routine a couple of times, but neither of us can take that seriously due to us always goofing around. I am so excited to have him as one of my groomsmen on our special day!

James Skov

Groomsman

James is Jessie's younger brother and my soon-to-be brother-in-law. He has always made me feel part of their family from the first time I met him. He and I can usually be found discussing the newest Marvel movie/show or griping about what the Celtics are doing wrong. He is always the life of the party and will most likely be the first person on the dance floor and the last one to leave the dance floor at the end of the night. He was the first member of the Skov family to know that I was proposing to Jessie during our trip to Punta Cana. I am so excited to have him as one of my groomsmen so he can be a part of our special day!
