We were colleagues and became friends for a couple of years but didn't think much of it. Then when we were meant to have dinner with some colleagues but they all bailed (on a Monday, in their defence) and we were left to dine "tête à tête". After Côme ordered almost everything on the menu, and I kept saying one more drink, there were sparks. We ended up staying until closing time and realised then that this could be something. Covid tried to get in the way, but we navigated our cross-Channel relationship in two amazing cities until we decided it was time to settle down.
