~4 Day Stay: Recommend Recoleta area (City center)

Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay

DAY TRIP from Buenos Aires to “Colonia” - URUGUAY (only 1 hour away) - Take the 1 hour fast boat (BUQUEBUS) to “Colonia” (“Colonia del Sacramento”) across the River Plate - Colonia is a World Heritage site, very small town, lovely, old cobbled stoned streets and colonial houses. - Highly recommended – you can do it as a day trip, or stay 1 night (particularly if you come to BA for enough days before the wedding) - NO visa required to go to neighbouring Uruguay for Irish, American, or New Zealand citizens
