FAQ
Question

What time should I get there?

Answer

As we are providing a complimentary shuttle service, we ask that you arrive no later than 3:15. Our hope is to begin our ceremony as close to 3:30 as possible.

Question

When will the shuttle be running?

Answer

2:30 pm - 10:00 pm. You can expect the shuttle to run before and after the ceremony, as well as through the night as we understand some many need to leave at various times.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

4820 Butterfly Lane, La Mesa

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

The Chapel at Grossmont- 5651 Water Street, La Mesa.

Question

What address am I going to?

Answer

While we recognize it is not ideal, there is no parking at the venue. If you do not plan on taking an Uber, we would ask that you would go to The Chapel at Grossmont (5651 Water Street, La Mesa, CA 91942) and take the shuttle, a 4-minute drive, to our venue. However our ceremony will be held at 4820 Butterfly Lane, La Mesa

Question

If I do not want to take the shuttle, what are my options?

Answer

There is no parking at the venue. If you do not wish to utilize the free shuttle service, you are able to use UBER or Lyft from the church parking lot, your hotel, or Airbnb.

Question

What is the timeline for the day?

Answer

Check out the "Schedule" tab on our wedding website!

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

#LiveLaughReyes While we are requesting an unplugged ceremony, during our reception we would love for you to use our hashtag... because we think it's funny.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Semi-formal. We know you've been in sweatpants for the last (almost) two years... please do not wear them to our wedding. That's ghetto.

Question

Will the wedding be hosted indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Outdoors- So bring a jacket or drop it like it's hot on the dance floor. The choice is yours!

Question

How many guests will be attending?

Answer

We have chosen an intimate ceremony of just over 100.

Question

Do we need to wear a mask?

Answer

While it’s not a requirement for our wedding, we completely understand and respect any guests who may wish to wear a mask on the day. Please note that we won’t be supplying masks at the venue, so you will need to provide your own.

Question

Will there be children in attendance?

Answer

We have decided to make our wedding an adults-only occasion. We hope this notice means you are still able to celebrate with us!

Question

Will I have to dance?

Answer

We did not plan a wedding during a pandemic for nothing. We would hope that our guests would celebrate accordingly.

Question

Is this a dry wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will have an open bar and will be heavily photographed. Any and all shenanigans will be documented, so please drink responsibly.

Question
