The Lodge on Lake Lure

We rented out the 17 rooms at the Lodge on Lake Lure for the wedding party and for immediate family. If you are a bridesmaid, or groomsmen, you will be staying here! :-) If you are not in the wedding party, we recommend renting one of the cabins on Riverbend. These are great to split between one or two families, and the names of specific cabins available near the wedding events are listed on this page. All of these options are a short drive from the Lodge and are highly recommended.

Me, You, and The View (Cabin)

This cabin features a main floor bedroom with queen bed; loft with queen bed and 26" LCD TV; living area with 42” LCD TV with Dish Network (basic channels), telescope, and gas-log stove (for cold weather months only). There is also a balcony deck with chairs, dining set, and gas grill. At the side of the home is a private garden area. In addition, you have access to all of the amenities of Riverbend at Lake Lure: Mirror Lake and its beach; children’s play area; covered picnic area complete with rocking chairs, picnic tables, restrooms, and stone fireplaces; seating and eating areas by the waterfall and along the Broad River; hiking trails; and views that will take your breath away. This option will sleep 5 guests.

Creekside (Cabin)

Creekside Cottage is a brand new cabin offering two bedrooms and two baths plus an upper loft for kids or a nice place to escape for an afternoon nap. The high ceilings in the living room and kitchen really expand this small but super cool and modern home. The kitchen has granite counters and beautiful tile work. This option is just a short walk to the lakes in Riverbend, Mirror Lake, and Little Mirror Lake and also to the trails along the Broad River. There is a nice sandy beach on Mirror Lake for your summer enjoyment. : swim in Mirror Lake, build sand castles on Mirror Lake Beach (there’s a play area for children); have a meal at the covered picnic site complete with picnic tables, rocking chairs, stone fireplaces to BBQ lunch, restrooms and spectacular views; hike, bike, or jog one of the many trails; or just sit and relax by the waterfall and river. Sleeps up to 5 guests.

Juve (Cabin)

This cozy 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin offers all the comforts of home. The main level offers an open-concept floor plan. In the living area is very comfortable furniture, a smart TV so use your Netflix or Amazon account and enjoy, and a wood-burning fireplace. Just imagine enjoying a book or hot chocolate in front of a warm fire. The dining area has seating for 6 and the kitchen is fully equipped. This level also has a stacked washer/dryer, bedroom, and bathroom. The upper level has a bedroom, loft, and bathroom. Sleeps 6 guests.

The Winding River House (Cabin)

Winding River House is a beautiful new riverside log home, surrounded by picturesque forest with a private lake a short walk away. It has sunny porches overlooking the river in the private, gated community of Riverbend at Lake Lure. This cabin has 4 bedrooms, bunk room, and a game room all set for ping pong and movie-watching. It is well-equipped all the comforts of home plus some! The main level has a large great room with a wall of windows, gas-log fireplace; gourmet kitchen (with granite countertops and upgraded appliances); half bath with full-size stack washer and dryer; and master bedroom with queen bed, large walk-in closet and spacious private bath. The upper level has two bedrooms with queen size beds, a lovely full bath in the hall, and large loft separating the the two bedrooms. The lower level has a cozy family room with bunk area, a large full bath, and private bedroom with queen size bed. There is definitely room for everyone! Sleeps 12 guests.

A Shady Retreat (Cabin)

This cabin has 3 bedrooms, plus a loft, and a game room all set for air hockey and movie-watching. It is well-equipped with all the comforts of home plus some! The main level has a nice great room with gas-log fireplace, fully equipped kitchen with upgraded appliances, super cozy bedroom with queen bed and full bath with access from hall and bedroom, and a laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer. The upper level has a comfortable and private master bedroom with king size bed and full private bath. This level also has an open loft with comfortable seating area, sofa that opens into a queen size bed and also a sunny deck to enjoy the view. The lower level has a cozy family room with large TV, comfortable furniture to relax and be comfortable, an air hockey table, a bath with shower, and a very comfortable private bedroom with king size bed. The family room also has patio access with outside seating and corn hole game boards for family fun. Sleeps 8 guests.

4 Lucky Ducks (Cabin)

4 Lucky Ducks is a super nice, family-friendly lakefront log home on Mirror Lake! Cozy cabin with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, stone gas log fireplace, hot tub, outdoor shower and more. Comfortable seating in the living room and functional kitchen with nice stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, and hickory cabinets. Dining table is at bar height and seats 8 with additional seating for 3 at the breakfast bar. Down the hall there is a half bath, a bedroom with queen bed, television, and a spacious bathroom with a double vanity. Sleeps up to 8 guests.

This beautiful, enormous, and luxurious cabin is right on the lake, has soaring ceilings, amazing views, a wrap around deck with a hot tub and swings, and stairs descending down to the lake. Sleeps up to 10 guests.

Appalachian Sunrise (Cabin)

Appalachian Sunrise offers a great room with cathedral ceiling, a gas log fireplace, WI-FI, DVD/BlueRay player, flat screen TV with surround sound , and Direct TV basic package. The dining room seats 6 and there is a breakfast island with 2 additional seats. This property offers a well-appointed, well stocked kitchen. Main level features a Master bedroom with king bed, flat screen TV, French doors to the deck, walk-in shower, and laundry area. There is a half bath in the hall. Upstairs you’ll find a loft overlooking the great room, Additionally, a guest bedroom with King bed and second guest bedroom with a queen bed and 2 twin beds, plus a full shared bathroom. Nice lower level Family and game room with pool table, 70″ flat screen TV with Direct TV, beer/wine refrigerator and patio area. There is a lower level bedroom with 2 twin beds and a full bath. Eagle Landing (Cabin)

This cabin is between mirror lake and Rumbling Bald Resort. There is a master bedroom with queen bed and private bath with large jetted tub on the level as well as access to the deck which offers a lake view, a gas grill and nice dining area. From younger children to teens the loft with twin bunks is the perfect hangout. There is a half bath in the loft. The lower level is huge and hosts and abundance of amenities. There is a master bedroom with jetted tub on this level as well as two other other bedrooms each with two twin beds with a full bathroom in the hall near by. There is a very nice game room on this level with pool table, air hockey table, darts and more! Sleeps 12 guests.

River Rest perfectly describes this Pet-Friendly vacation getaway! Part of the Riverbend at Lake Lure community, but located outside of the gates, this inviting home has beautiful mountain views and 200 feet of Broad River frontage all on a two-acre lot. This option sleeps up to 12 guests.
