Rockies Game at Coors Field
The Rockies will be playing at home this weekend. Coors Field is a 12 minute walk from both Limelight Hotel and The Westin. From August 6th to August 8th, they will be playing the New York Mets. From August 9th to August 11th, they will be playing the Atlanta Braves.
Shop The Dairy Block
The Dairy Block is home to 15 shops, 19 restaurants, and 7 bars. We recommend walking through the Free Market shops and the Milk Market food hall. Along the way you'll find various other independent shops and restaurants.
Walk Commons Park
While there are limited amenities at Commons Park, it is still a great place to spend the afternoon on a summer day. Grab a blanket and a book, or stop by Whole Foods on the way there to pick up some snacks and a six pack.
City Park Golf Course
While there is no shortage of golf courses in the surrounding areas of Denver, City Park Golf Course is the only one located in the heart of the city. This course offers views of the downtown skyline, mountains, and the Denver Zoo!
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
Red Rocks is a Colorado staple and located about 30 minutes from downtown Denver. There are many nearby hiking trails, incredible scenery, and a variety of events. On Saturday, Red Rocks will be hosting Yoga on The Rocks that morning and the Slightly Stoopid concert that evening.
