Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Colorado weather is a bit unpredictable, so we will continue to update this. It's been a hot summer in the 90s, but it looks like we will get a cool down to the 70s. It is not out of the ordinary for Colorado to experience some summer rain showers in the late afternoon, but weather permitting, our ceremony will be taking place outside on grass and our reception will be inside.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our welcome party dress code is upscale casual. For women, this means that sundresses, jumpsuits or matching sets are all perfectly appropriate. For men, this means pants (preferably no light wash denim) paired with a button-up or collared shirt. Our wedding day dress code is summer formal. We kindly request that our guests dress in formal attire, while keeping seasonality in mind. For women, this can mean dresses of any length in summer colors or floral patterns. Please avoid wearing shades of white or black. For men, this means a suit and tie, no hats.

When should I get to Denver?

Answer

We recommend that our guests arrive in Denver on Thursday and join us for our welcome party. Both hotels have a check-in time of 4:00 pm and cannot guarantee early check-in. We would hate for you to miss the shuttle transportation for the wedding on Friday due to check-in delays.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved room blocks at Limelight Hotel and The Westin. As of July, both room blocks are fully booked. Some other nearby hotels we recommend but do not have room blocks at include The Crawford and The Oxford.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Limelight Hotel offers valet parking for $60/night and The Westin offers valet parking for $54/night. If you choose to self-park, there are many nearby parking garages that typically offer a more affordable rate. Parking at the museum is in the parking garage at 1900 16th St. for $8/hour, but can be validated by the museum's front desk. Parking at The Manor House is complimentary, but we do require that any guests who drive themselves have a designated driver. If you leave your car overnight, it must be picked up by 10:00 am the next morning.

When should I get to the venue?

If you will be taking your own transportation, please plan on arriving between 4:30 and 4:45 pm. If you are taking the shuttle transportation from Limelight Hotel, you are scheduled to arrive at 4:30 pm.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

While there will not be a hosted after party, our guests are more than welcome to explore the downtown bar scene on their own. Most bars will be open until 2:00 am on a Friday night. Some ones close by include Terminal Bar, Ghost Donkey, Pony Up, and Poka Lola.

Can I bring a date or children?

Answer

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate additional guests due to limited capacity at our venue. Please only RSVP for the people indicated on your invitation. We look forward to celebrating with our closest friends and family!

When and where should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP online at your earliest convenience, but no later than July 1st. Any RSVPs received after this date will be marked as declining as we will be sending a final headcount to our vendors following this deadline.
