Situated amid over one-hundred acres of pristine forest in the heart of the Green Mountains. Visitors can explore the 28 room Yester House Gallery, built in 1917. It's also the largest outdoor sculpture park in Vermont. If you have an hour of free time, definitely a place worth checking out!
Super chill driving range. Has a few clubs you can borrow if you need. Highly recommend if you want to hit a few balls but don't want to book a tee time.
The first marble quarry in the US. Beautiful quarry filled with fresh, clean water. Lots of cliffs to jump from. Very popular and well-known local swimming place.
Robert Lincoln, the only child of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln to survive to adulthood, built this mansion in 1905. It became home to only Lincoln descendants until 1975, longer than any other Lincoln residence. It's a beautiful home and property with incredible views from the garden. $23 tour ticket includes admission to Robert and Mary's home, gardens, Hildene Farm, Pullman car Sunbeam, Dene Farm and about 12 miles of walking trails.
While there are so many things special to Vermont to do, sometimes you just want to go shopping! Luckily there are a bunch of outlet shops nearby where you can take home some good deals.
