Casual, fresh, and simple Taco and Burrito Bar made with naturally raised meat and locally sourced produce. Perfect for a quick lunch, dinner or snack. Recommend the Taco Americano and Salad bowls - the beef and pork are both delicious!

Hound Dogs

Hound Dogs

64 Equinox Terrace, Manchester, VT 05255

GREAT option if you just want a quick snack. Food truck with hot dogs, chili dogs, philly cheesesteaks, italian sausage and peppers, cheeseburgers, fries and onion rings.

Ponce Bistro

Mystic Cafe & Wine Bar

Mystic Cafe & Wine Bar

4928 Main Street, Manchester Center, VT 05255
, (802) 768-8086

Cozy restaurant with outdoor patio. Smaller, shareable plates. Lots of wines and beers. So many delicious items on the dinner menu, including Manchego with Truffle Honey, and Beef Pork & Ricotta Meatballs. Highly recommend the Shiitake Manchego Flatbread! Great lunch option as well.

Ye Olde Tavern

5183 Main Street, Manchester Center, VT 05255
, (802) 362-0611

Delicious comfort food. Huge portions. You'll leave and want to immediately lie down and digest all the wonderful food you just ate. Highly recommend the chicken pot pie and prime rib! Comes with delicious fresh baked whole wheat bread.

The Perfect Wife Restaurant

2594 Depot Street, Manchester, VT 05255
, (802) 362-2817

Has a restaurant and tavern (casual, bar). Food at the restaurant is very delicious. Personally recommend the Caesar Salad and Sautéed Jumbo Shrimp Scampi. Items can be made gluten free.

The Crooked Ram

4026 Main Street, Manchester, VT 05255

Super cute craft beer and wine spot across from the Inn at Manchester. Menu is always changing. You can taste a few and buy a crowler of your favorite. If you're a beer lover, you have to stop here!

Southern Vermont Arts Center

930 Southern Vermont Arts Center Drive, Manchester, VT 05254
, (802) 362-1405

Situated amid over one-hundred acres of pristine forest in the heart of the Green Mountains. Visitors can explore the 28 room Yester House Gallery, built in 1917. It's also the largest outdoor sculpture park in Vermont. If you have an hour of free time, definitely a place worth checking out!

Practice Tee

Vermont 7A, Manchester Center, VT 05254
, (802) 362-3100

Super chill driving range. Has a few clubs you can borrow if you need. Highly recommend if you want to hit a few balls but don't want to book a tee time.

Dorset Marble Quarry (Swimming)

Dorset Marble Quarry (Swimming)

Route 30, Dorset, 05251

The first marble quarry in the US. Beautiful quarry filled with fresh, clean water. Lots of cliffs to jump from. Very popular and well-known local swimming place.

Hildene-The Lincoln Family Home

1005 Hildene Road, VT 05254
(802) 362-1788

Robert Lincoln, the only child of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln to survive to adulthood, built this mansion in 1905. It became home to only Lincoln descendants until 1975, longer than any other Lincoln residence. It's a beautiful home and property with incredible views from the garden. $23 tour ticket includes admission to Robert and Mary's home, gardens, Hildene Farm, Pullman car Sunbeam, Dene Farm and about 12 miles of walking trails.

Lye Brook Falls Trail

Lye Brook Falls Trail

Lye Brook Falls Trail, Manchester Center, VT 05255

~4.5 mile hike to the falls and back. Most of the hike is rocky and has an incline for ~1.5 miles, so may be difficult for inexperienced hikers.

Manchester Designer Outlets

, (802) 362-3736

While there are so many things special to Vermont to do, sometimes you just want to go shopping! Luckily there are a bunch of outlet shops nearby where you can take home some good deals.
