We're Getting Married!

Our story began in 2012 on an unseasonably hot spring day in SoHo, New York City. Jess was completing her final round of interviews at Zocdoc, a health technology company where Brian had been working for a few months. Despite her nervousness, it was clear after the interviews that day that Jess was going to get the job. She was escorted around the office to meet the team. Brian was looking forward to meeting the girl that everyone said was “the best.” When she walked into the room, he stood to shake her hand and was taken aback by her big, beautiful, stunning smile. That was the beginning. After countless meetings, flights around the country, train trips, long car rides, tons of laughs, and quite a bit of work-related bickering, a strong friendship emerged. And after Jess saw Brian’s dance moves they both realized it was only a matter of time. They haven’t left each other's side since.

At Nauset Light beach in Cape Cod, Brian tricked Jess into abandoning her chick lit book and Sour Cream and Onion chips to apply sunscreen on his back before dropping to a knee. Jess was confused, and eventually said yes, while a stranger and his wife stood 3 feet away recording the entire moment. Jess and Brian shared a bologna sandwich and wine cooler afterwards. Tick Manning stared, wondering what just happened. It was a beautiful day.
