Please plan to Uber to the venue and arrive around 5pm for a 5:30pm ceremony start. Ubers will be hard to get for a large group at 2am so we have arranged for shuttles to drive guests back to the main areas of Cape Town where people are staying.
This is one of the largest cycling events in the world with tens of thousands of cyclists taking part. Expect to not drive anywhere on Sunday due to road closures throughout the city. For more details on the race, please see https://www.capetowncycletour.com/ Road closure information: https://www.capetowncycletour.com/ctct-site/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Road-Closures_CTCT-2022_provisionalV3.pdf
You can Uber most places in the city but you may want one to spend a day in Cape Point Nature Reserve or visit surrounding areas.
Most likely. There will be extensive road closures until the evening. Please see this site for road closures and timing: https://www.capetowncycletour.com/ctct-site/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Road-Closures_CTCT-2022_provisionalV3.pdf
