Balboa Park

San Diego, CA

We have spent countless hours enjoying Balboa Park, San Diego's 1,200 acre urban cultural park. It contains 16 museums, multiple theaters, and the San Diego Zoo. Two of our favorite areas to visit are the Spanish Village Art Center (working artist studios) and the International Cottages where you might be able to snag some food from your favorite countries. Josh always gets lefse or Hjertevafler (waffles) from the Norwegian Cottage.

USS Midway Museum

This is a great museum aboard the USS Midway aircraft carrier. You'll spend hours and hours exploring the ship and seeing a large collection of aircraft on the flight deck.

San Diego Civic Theatre

We have season tickets to Broadway San Diego and will be going to Chicago the Musical on Thursday, February 15. Please let us know if you'd like to join us! We may be able to get you discount tickets!

Seaport Village

It's a great location for walking around downtown. Lots of little shops and an amazing view.
