Gaslamp Quarter - Downtown
Gaslamp in Downtown is the perfect place to hangout, dine, or drink! It's a lively area with a ton of restaurants/bars within walking distance. Highly recommend going to a rooftop bar, such as Above Ash Social or Altitude Sky Lounge, to see the beautiful views of the city!
North Park
A hip, vibey neighborhood with a ton of food & drink spots! We recommend eating at City Tacos for their modern tacos, Siamo Napoli for their lamb ragu pasta, or Friendly Tavern for simple yet delicious smash burgers. If you wanna get yo' drank on, check out Coin-Op barcade or The Office club lounge!
Liberty Station
Liberty Station is a great place with multiple activities. Walk around the shops, lounge in the open grass fields, grab a beer at Stone Brewery, or eat at the food hall that is home to so many delicious food vendors!
Balboa Park
A beautiful park with museums, a zoo, and gardens! Perfect place to walk around with the kids. We love the Japanese garden!
Sunset Cliffs
The BEST place to watch the sunset (hence the name). You can walk down to the beach, check out the local sea lions, or even wade in the shallow tide pools. Fun fact: Jenevine & Alex had a picnic here the day they secretly eloped!
Ironside Fish & Oyster
One of our favorite restaurants! Located in Downtown. Highly recommend the lobster roll, bone marrow, clam chowder, and fresh oysters. Fun fact: Jenevine's favorite oysters are the small and sweet Kumamoto oysters.
Harland Brewing Co. - Bay Park
One of our favorite breweries! Super cute, cozy spot to have a few drinks. Sometimes they have special flavors such as Ube Milkshake IPA or Li Hing Mui Sour Ale (our favs!)
