NEWARK TO ROME

The Rome airport is the international hub for flights from the States. We highly recommend starting your trip in this beautiful and historic city if you have time. To travel from Rome to Florence, it is only a 90 minute, $25 train ride between the two cities. Or you can rent a car for the scenic drive from Rome to Lucca, Tuscany (3 hours).

Florence is an incredibly beautiful and romantic city to explore. We recommend renting a car for the scenic drive to Lucca (approx. 45 mins to 1 hour). You can rent a car at the Florence airport or schedule a car service to take you to your final destination.

NEWARK TO PISA

The Pisa Airport (Galileo Galilei Airport) is located East of the venue near the coast of Tuscany (approx.. 45 mins to 1 hour). Pisa airport is the closest airport to Casale de' Pasquinelli but has the least amount of non-stop flights from New Jersey. Pisa is a great option if you plan to travel throughout Europe before or after the wedding festivities.

Renting a car is a fun and convenient way to get around the surrounding areas of Tuscany. As noted, you will need a driving permit to rent a car.

Villa Marta is an eighteenth century villa outside of the city centre of Lucca. Characterized by its elegant and comfortable furniture, it has 18 rooms, 2 of which are deluxe rooms located on the third floor of the villa and in the dependance. The recently restored Villa was formerly the home of the sculptor Guido Cheli, many of whose plaster casts adorn the interior. Guests arriving by car have access to a large free car park, while those coming by public transport will find the bus stop right outside the Hotel entrance. Approx. 30 minute drive to Casale de' Pasquinelli.
