Rockport

Spend an afternoon strolling downtown Rockport! It's about a 3 minute drive from Rockport Inn and Suites, and is full of great shops, food and beautiful views. You may recognize some of these adorable streets from movies like The Proposal, Manchester by the Sea, and CODA.

Good Harbor Beach

Gloucester's prettiest beach, and recently named one of the top 25 beaches in the United States. Grab a towel, a sandwich and a cold drink and enjoy!

Front Beach

Located right on the strip of downtown Rockport one of Jens favorite beaches to go to!

Mill River Winery

Mill River Winery warmly welcomes guests to a seated experience on their quaint patio or in their cozy tasting room. They offer tastings, wine by the glass, as well as a wonderful selection of small bites and charcuterie boards (Reservations are preferred - Walk Ins are welcome on a first come first serve basis) About a 30 minute drive from Rockport!

Hammond Castle Museum

In the style of a medieval castle, it was built to house his private collection of artifacts from ancient Rome through the Renaissance. Visitors can explore the many rooms of the castle, as well as enjoy the beauty of the castle grounds and view of the Atlantic shore line.

Rockport Music-Shalin Liu Performance Center

Originally established as the Rockport Chamber Music Festival in 1981, Rockport Music is nationally recognized for featuring the world’s foremost musicians in classical, jazz, folk, world, and pop music.

Cape Ann Whale Watch

This is a great trip for children, Sightings are guarenteed, trips last 3-4 hours and reservations are recommended! Located in Gloucester

Halibut Point State Park

On a clear day, Halibut Point State Park will be able to see Mount Agamenticus, located 40 miles away in Maine, and the Isles of Shoals off the coast of New Hampshire. You can explore the park's trails and tide pools, picnic on the rocky ledges, and learn about the park's World-War II history and the Cape Ann granite industry history.
