Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! This is a formal event and we would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! There will be a black tie dress code in place for the wedding. For women this includes mid calf or full length dresses ( No white or Cream colored dresses, please). Ladies, please take into account you will be walking on grass for a lot of the wedding, Take that into consideration when picking out shoes. For men, dark tuxedos would be preferred, but if you don't have one, a black or dark blue suit will work fine. You also don't have to wear a bow tie, but please wear a tie.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to “{your name} & Guest" if a plus one applies in your case. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Jen or Ben!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making the arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at the hotel or at home so you can celebrate with us! If you are attending the welcome party on Friday or brunch on Sunday, kids will be welcome. We just kindly ask to make other arrangements for Saturday.

Question

How & When should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab here on our website and type in your name. All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as "will attend" or " will not attend". Please RSVP before the 10th of May 2025. All RSVPs not received after this date will be marked as will not attend; we will be sending a final head count to our vendors following this deadline. If you are not able to make it, we will miss you celebrating with us!

Question

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We want all to be present in the moment. We will have an amazing team of photographers and videographers, so we will be having a fully unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that there are no pictures or videos taken until announced to do so. Thank you in advance for respecting our wishes!

Question

How do we get there?

Answer

We will have transportation to and from the designated hotel ( Rockport Inn and Suites) and the venue and encourage you to utilize it! However, if you are not staying at the hotel you are more than welcome to drive. If you choose to drive there will be a large parking lot at the venue.

Question

About the venue

Answer

The ceremony will take place in the Italian garden on the property you will be directed to the ceremony location when you arrive. After the ceremony you will come up to the estate and enjoy cocktail hour on the patio. Soon after you will make your way into the tent where the reception will be held. The dancing will take place inside of the estate, While inside you are more then welcome to walk around the estate (I suggest you do or you may regret it). The venue is apart of the preservation society and is limited on how far you can roam inside , Some rooms will be blocked off for viewing only but is it worth looking at all the beautiful architecture and learn about wealth at its finest in the industrial age. In the foyer there will be couches and chairs you are allowed to sit on and enjoy yourselves!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Transportation to and from the wedding on Saturday will be provided to those who need it. Be at your pick up spot before pick up time, or the bus will leave without you! The bus will be leaving no later than 5:00 from Rockport inn and suites so make sure you are there on time.
