It all started on the audio chat platform called Clubhouse. It was a Friday night in October of 2021, and pandemic restrictions were just beginning to fade into memory. Luke and Jenna found themselves the only two sober ones in a room full of drunk people. Luke was curious about the new girl and insisted on pulling Jenna into conversation…A conversation that lasted eight hours. It was pretty clear to both of them that they shared a connection that they’d never had with anyone else. Days on FaceTime turned into weeks, and Luke soon asked Jenna to be his girlfriend. Around this time, Luke and Jenna jokingly planned their imaginary wedding. They met up in person in early 2022 and the rest was pretty much history. The couple spent a happy summer in Canada with Jenna’s family, and then moved to Louisiana for Jenna’s masters program.

Luke spent weeks coordinating the ideal proposal, from renting a limo to pictures out on the lookout to a fancy dinner where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Big shocker, she said yes! We hope you’ll be able to join us in celebrating our special day. We hope to see you there!
