St. Elmo Steak House

THE #1 Indianapolis staple steakhouse that has been a landmark in downtown Indianapolis since 1902. It is the oldest Indianapolis steakhouse in its original location, and has earned a national reputation for its excellent steaks, seafood, chops and professional service. Andre and I always try and make it a point to go grab a cocktail and appetizer here when we are in town. ***They are know for their DELICIOUS St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail -- highly recommend! Gallery Pastry Bar

{we haven't been here yet} but from what my sister Kara and her friends have said, it's one of the cutest and most delicious places for lunch, brunch or dinner! Gallery offers a full spirits list, draft and bottle beer, and an old-world wine list. Their cocktail menu has been crafted, by local bartender Corey Ewing, and many of their cocktails play on the pastries that they have become known for, including a French Macaron Mai Tai. Their food is simple and straight forward. They let the ingredients speak for themselves. They use quality local vendors so that they don’t have to overcomplicate the food. They also have breakfast pastries available to complement your morning coffee. Their fresh baked croissants come in plain, chocolate, or almond. Café Patachou

My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE brunch/lunch spot in Indy. One of Indianapolis's staple restaurants that my family and I have been going to since I was born. I remember we used to go Patachou after Church when I was a kid and I would always get their bagel sandwich with a side of their Cinnamon toast (*this is a must get*) and my Mom would get the Hippie with a Benz omelet with egg whites :) Their orange juice is also the freshest OJ I've ever had. Founded in 1989 (Andre and I's year of birth), Cafe Patachou was a leader in bringing farm-to-table dining to Indy. In addition to Café Patachou, the company owns and operates Petite Chou Bistro, Napolese Pizzeria, Public Greens Urban Kitchen, Bar One Fourteen and Apocalypse Burger, which are all absolutely incredible! This is the CUTEST chic farm-to-table brunch/lunch spot that serves seasonally influenced and locally sourced food and cold pressed juice. They make the most incredibly delicious simple dishes, made from natural ingredients, grown and harvested by local farmers. Indiana State Museum

The Indiana State Museum is a museum located within White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. The museum houses exhibits on the science, art, culture, and history of Indiana from prehistoric times up to the present day. The museum is also the site of the state's largest IMAX screen.

East Georgia Street

The three blocks of Georgia Street connecting the Indiana Convention Center with Bankers Life Fieldhouse were recently transformed into a pedestrian-friendly, European-inspired promenade and unique outdoor event space able to accommodate food and beverage stations, concert stages, street performers, and more. Georgia Street debuted as the popular Super Bowl Village in February 2012 and continues to serve groups of all sizes.

The Rathskeller

Housed in a historic, architecturally-notable German cultural center, the Rathskeller (Indianapolis' oldest restaurant) has been in operation since 1894, and still serves such traditional Germanic fare as Sauerbraten and Schnitzel (along with such less-traditional fare as grilled yellow-fin tuna and shrimp scampi). Beer lovers will find much to love on the drink menu, as the restaurant's biergarten and Kellerbar offer brews and microbrews from Germany, Europe, the U.K. and North America. There is also live music all year round.
