Rocky Mountain National Park
RMNP gets crowded during the summer time, and you MUST RESERVE a timed ticket entry to the park during peak season as well as get a park pass. Please plan ahead so entry tickets don't sell out! What to do: Our personal favorite hike in the park is Lake Haiyaha (as pictured above) which is a 4.0 mile moderate hike. Other hikes we've enjoyed include Bierstadt Lake Trail, a moderate 3 mile loop, and Sprague Lake Loop, an easy 1 mile loop. Trail Ridge Road also offers amazing rocky mountain views as you drive through the park and stop at offshoots.

Lake Estes
Guaranteed to see some cool wildlife (the elk love it here) this is a really nice spot to explore right in the heart of Estes Park
Fall River Trail
This is an easy and enjoyable path along the river that flows through downtown Estes Park.
Kruger Rock Trail
This is a hike outside of RMNP (so you won't need a reservation) that is 4 miles and moderately challenging with great views!
