The AQHA headquarters is located in Amarillo. Every single registered Quarter Horse has been in this system. In 2010 Katie did a six week externship with the genetics and naming department and helped pick register names of quarter horses. The musuem is a wonderful place to learn, is great for families, kids, or adults and will make you feel like you’ve arrived at the rodeo or racetrack.
