Mudgee is famous for its wine. There are 60 local producers and over 35 cellar doors in the area.  There are various ways to visit:

1. Drive between them. 
2. Cycling - one vendor is Ezyride Mudgee. 
3. Wine tours - Mudgee VIP tours comes highly recommended.
4. Helicopter - if you really want to blow some money.

Whilst Mudgee is famous for its wine there are also various other activities tin the area: 

1. Walking tracks - The drip walking track is around a 25 minute drive outside of Mudgee – it is a 3km out and back track that runs alongside a small creek.

2. Mountain biking (of course) -Mudgee common has around 17km of mountain bike tracks which are either green or blue. They are close to town and allow you to get out for a pedal.

3. Hot air balloon - The Mudgee hot air balloon, which provides breakfast and a 45-60 minutes flight depending on conditions.
