Meet some very special people in our lives who will be walking down the aisle with us

Kurien & Lata Chaluparampil

Parents of the Bride

Stephen & Santha Vanchipurakal

Parents of the Groom

Jasmin James

Maid of Honor

We met in 8th grade U.S. history when we were both new in school. Needless to say, the rest was well, history. She is my mind-reading, paper editing, personal stylist, on-call therapist, wifey, best friend who is also one of the only people in the world who fully understands the role of chocolate in my life. All the more reasons why I love her to pieces. (Jash is aware that he will forever be the third wheel in our relationship.)

Jonathan Koovakada

Best Man

What can I say about this guy? I first met Jonu way back in early High School days. It's funny because besides being friends, Jonu and I also happen to be related through my first cousin Jim. From going to my first AC/DC concert, all the fun college days in the city when we lived together, to this day, we are always down for an adventure together.

Kripa Mathew

Bridesmaid

Meet my baby sister who I basically raised. She deserves an award for being my practice child (I take no responsibility for any imprinted damages). She is the one who brings life to our home. There is no such thing as a dull moment with her around. I will miss walking into a house where there is no music blasting and her savage self ranting non-stop about something or the other.

Tomy Philip

Groomsman

Tomy is one hilarious guy. We met around the same time as I met Jonu. The three of us lived in the city together for a few years during college. I never met any other person in the world who loves tuna more than Tomy. He's also a sport enthusiast. I still recall one night during college when Tomy and I played ball at the gym. This guy drilled 13 threes on me that night and to this day, hasn't let go of that embarrassment, smh lol. Interestingly enough, we also found out not long ago that he is Kavya's long lost cousin lol.

Stephanie Vanchipurakal

Bridesmaid

Steffy is Jash's baby sister and my new big sissy. She's so good at making me feel welcomed into my new family. She has been one of the kindest and most supportive people in our lives throughout this whole process, lending a helping hand even before we ask. Steph is beyond sweet and already such an excellent big sister, looking out for me always! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life under her wings, being pampered and spoiled by her :p

Jitu Kalliduckil

Groomsman

I've known Jitu for as long as I've known Jonathan and Tomy. Man, one thing about Jitu I will never forget is his support for Peyton Manning. Whenever we all played Madden during our college days, this guy would always have Peyton Manning as his QB. About 97 percent of the plays were Manning to wide receivers Brandon Stokley or Austin Collie. Don't be fooled by his devotion to the NBA though. This guy is also easily the fob in our group, keeping us in line with our Indian roots :p.

Tonia Kizhakepuram

Bridesmaid

This Thenkasipattanam addict is the biggest sucker for a good love story. Ergo, she was one of our biggest cheerleaders throughout. We shared almost every major step in our lives together, starting from middle school. She is my music junkie, foodie, nurse sister from another set of parents. We can't be from the same household without driving everyone else up the wall. Look for the wildest brown girl at the party. I'm sure you won't miss her.

Nick Kurian

Groomsman

Nick Kurian, aka Wizard Kurian. I met Nick a little after meeting Jonathan, Tomy, and Jitu. I was amazed at how many people knew Nick and how many people he knew. There is no way you don't know Nick Kurian if you're from Chicago. Well connected man ova here! Nick is a huge sports fan especially with the NBA and NFL. Aside from being a social bumble bee, his other special talent includes being able to predict game winners before the game is over.

Iby Mathews

Bridesmaid

Say hello to my sister in Jesus Christ. We met at church, but our friendship extends well beyond those boundaries. Homegirl over here is my go-to person for anything. The hood in her tells me when I need to step up my game and the Lord in her helps guide when I'm lost about something. I look forward to sharing our day with this cheery, giggly, bubbly personality.

Charly Abraham

Groomsman

Charly is one of my oldest guy cousins from my mom's side back in Chicago. One thing we are always on the same page about is sports. We are both Chicago Bears, Bulls, and NFL fans everyday. During Fantasy football, he is the one I always turn to for advice regarding our rosters and trade offers. Glad to have him by my side on our big day.

Sera Kunnirikal

Bridesmaid

Chaluparampils, represent! She is one of my favorite cousins. No family event is the same if both of us aren't there to attend it. Growing up as two peas in a pod and never up to any good, we always talked about being a part of each other's big days. Looks like her turn is just over the horizon and I can't be more thrilled about it.

Bobby Abraham

Groomsman

Bobby! He is another one of my first cousins on my mom's side from Chicago. He is also Charly's younger brother. Bobby has always been the funny goofball in the family whenever we get together for family parties. He was also my confirmation sponsor from way back in the early days. He is always there for advice and help whenever I need it and I'm more than happy to have him as one of my groomsmen.

Christy Abraham

Bridesmaid

I'm all about atypical stories, so here is another one. Christy and Jasmin were childhood friends who moved away from each other. Christy came into my life as my friendship with Jasmin grew. We've somehow managed to build a rock-hard relationship without ever having met each other in person (told you our story is weird). Although our polar opposite schedules have kept us apart physically for as long as it has, she is the one I go to whenever I need unfiltered advice. Along with meeting all of Jash's family, I plan to finally meet one of my best friends at our wedding.

Jim Vanchipura

Groomsman

Jim aka Jimbo aka James. Jim is one of my very few older guy cousins on my dad's side. We became close because we are similar in age. So growing up, whenever I used to go to family parties on my dad side we would hang out often. We became even closer after I met Jonu and realized Jim and Jonu are first cousins too, small world! Interesting fact, he is getting married but 3 months prior to me. Expecting tips on early married life from this guy haha.

Nikhil John

Bridesman

I don't have a biological brother, so at some point, I decided to adopt this little guy. We met at church, but our familial ties run further back. Not only is he a Mozart on the rise with his piano skills, but his subtle jokes can get any tough crown to at least crack a smile. This is one of the sassiest, but sweetest guys I know. He delivers the perfect song with the perfect dessert whenever I need a pick-me-up. I can't promise the dessert from him, but please enjoy his musical stylings at our wedding.

Jordyn Burke

Groomsman

JB! I'm glad to say this guy has been one of my friends ever since Parker Junior High. That's right, middle school days! We used to hoop way back then and showcase our talents until the injury bug hit me hard and my game fell off haha. It's crazy to say we have maintained that close friendship ever since middle school even though our paths in life have lead us to be very far from each other. I'm beyond happy that he will be standing by me on our big day.
