FAQs

The Wedding Website of Janelli Perez and Evan Roberts
Here are some questions and answers you may have about the wedding.
Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids, but we want our wedding to be your night off! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Black-Tie Optional: Tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We do not have a hotel block for guests, but there are several recommended hotels at various budgets listed in the "Travel" page of this website. If you want to stay outside of Coral Gables, let us know and we can recommend hotels/airbnbs in the area you wish to stay.

Question

Will the ceremony or reception be outside or inside?

Answer

The ceremony will be held in an outside courtyard and the reception will be inside. Cocktail hour will have a mix of the two.

Question

What is the weather going to be like?

Answer

In March, the average temperature is between 75° and 69°.

Question

What time should I arrive? (Looking at you my Miami-time people)

Answer

The doors to the venue will open at 5:30PM and the ceremony will start at 6PM. Please arrive promptly at 5:30PM to have time to take your seats and get settled before the ceremony begins.

Question

Where should guests park?

Answer

There will be valet services at the front of the venue. Please do not park in the small parking lot adjacent to the venue as that is for our vendors.

Question

What is an unplugged ceremony and why are you having one?

Answer

An unplugged ceremony is a wedding ceremony in which only the professional photographer is allowed to take photos. Guests are asked to switch their phones off and refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We promise to share all of the beautiful photos our professional photographer has taken of the ceremony and would like you all as guests to sit back, relax, and be fully present in this moment that we've worked so hard to put together.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Apart from the ceremony, yes! We encourage guests to take and post pictures on to their social media channels. If you would so kindly use our wedding hashtag #PerezentingtheRoberts we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Question

The wedding is in Miami and hosted by Cubans, should I learn to dance salsa?

Answer

Absolutely! Salsa dance lessons are highly recommended and even the bride and groom are going to take some because neither of them can dance *hahaha/jajajaja*

Question

Who should I call or text if I have any questions day of the wedding?

Answer

Hopefully this website has helped answer any questions you may have, but if you still have more questions please call or text anyone except the bride or groom, as they hope to enjoy this special day as much as possible. Thank you!
