Manuel Antonio National Park
Hike through some of the most beautiful vegetation in Costa Rica while keeping your eyes peeled for waterfalls, sloths, monkeys, iguanas and more! And the best part? The unbelievably gorgeous beaches along the way! This is a MUST SEE in Costa Rica! Hours are from 7 am to 4 pm every day of the year except for Mondays, including all holidays. Admission fee is $18 and children under 12 should be free of admission. Tickets may be purchased at the park entrance at Coopealianza by cash or Visa. Guided tours are available at $51 for adults and $35 for children.
El Avión Restaurant & Bar
This beautiful restaurant has the best views in Manuel Antonio, a great atmosphere, delicious drinks and to die for food!! A must eat while you’re here! Plan on spending a tad bit more here as the prices are a bit higher but it’s so worth it and is actually comparable to a lot of restaurants in AZ, and no higher than a restaurant like the Macaroni Grill.
Neo Fauna CR - Wildlife Conservation
Now this is one place where you can see wildlife close up and even touch or hold some of them! They rescue animals that cannot survive in the wild, who need extra care, or need rehabilitation before they can go back into the wild. We loved supporting such a good cause and the guides are very knowledgeable and enjoyable! We got to learn about and see all sorts of frogs, butterflies, macaws, turtles, monkeys, worms, snakes, and even a possum! They even had some cocoa plants there that they educated us about. The cost is $20/person. We can’t wait to go back!
