Bathing suit, surf shorts, light sundress/clothing. The park gets very muggy so the lighter the clothing the better. Bring sandals (in a backpack or bag) but you will likely want to wear water tennis shoes or just regular tennis shoes for the hike in.

Beach formal suggests an elegant beach wedding—so dress to impress, but also dress for the elements (sun, sand and water). Anything you'd wear to a nice restaurant on a summer night is appropriate. Sandals are recommended, this will be a barefoot wedding so you can easily take off your shoes if need be!! ***A SHUTTLE SERVICE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR GUESTS AT THE FOLLOWING HOTELS*** Arenas Del Mar, Issimo, and Makanda. If you wish to be added to this list please let us know! Departure time: 3:30 PM from the Arenas del Mar, traveling next to Issimo and Makanda, then back to Arenas - this gives you time to get settled and grab a cocktail prior to the ceremony. Arenas del Mar Departure time back to the hotels: 10:00 PM (Makanda, Issimo suites) - it will leave without you if you are not out there by 10:00

This is our favorite Costa Rican bar! Please come and join us for a relaxed come and go as you please, drink or eat what you wish, share stories from the weekend, hang out and say your goodbyes to the bride and groom! If you want to follow us to the bar meet at the Arenas Resort prior and it will be about an hour drive from Manuel Antonio. For those of you staying in the San Jose airport area that night, this is on our way to the airport.
