Yes! The dress code is semi-formal, so cocktail dresses, formal gowns, suits, and tuxedos are all welcome. Anything dressy that you feel comfortable in! Please don’t be one of those Reddit stories and wear white to the wedding. You will be asked to leave.
Certain people have plus ones. If you are uncertain about if you get one or would like to request one, please contact the bride and groom!
Yes kids are welcome! We will have a couple activities for kids at the wedding. However, if you bring children their supervision is your responsibility.
The only faux pas our book is wearing white to outshine the bride. There are superstitions about black and red, but we don’t mind these colors.
The ceremony should have ample parking in the church parking lot. The reception parking lot is public lot so it can take a little bit to find parking. There is also street parking. If you have someone with a mobility issue we can save a parking spot for you, just let us know!
Yes! We will be staying at the Albion and have a hotel block. Please check the travel page for recommendations!
Yes! We are going to have a gift opening the next morning at the Albion as is Canadian tradition! See the schedule for details.
We are registered through this website because it keeps it simple in one place. Since we already live together in a small apartment there isn’t a lot of stuff for a traditional registry, we are focusing on a honeymoon fund and saving for a house.
Please let the bride and groom know asap! This is also listed on the online rsvp.
Because Jillana and Josh wanted to watch the cocktail hour to see everyone’s performances, there is a bit of a gap between both events. During this time you can go to the hotel bar across the street, and grab a drink, or park in Maplewood and explore the village area. For more recommendations visit the “things to do” page!
