FAQ

The Wedding Website of Brittany Courter and John Gorman
If you have any questions, you know how to reach us, we don't know how to do this either.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, be aware that it is January, and the weather ranges for 60 to 30 so be sure to check before you pack.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your plus one specification would have been listed on your invitation. This is an intimate affair as our venue is going to be quite quaint.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore all of your children, due to space constraints, we are unable to accommodate children at the ceremony or reception.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please do as soon as possible! We want everyone to be comfortable and safe, however your option may be limited. Should you not be comfortable, we welcome you to also bring something that meets your specific needs.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

A wine and beer bar is available to all of our guests, as well as soda and juices. Should you desire a cocktail, there is a cash bar available in the restaurant below.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer to cover this event. While we are happy to take selfies with you at the reception, please respect both the sanctity of the church and the couple themselves by refraining from photographing the ceremony

Question

The note card?

Answer

We love to cook, and have for our entire relationship expressed love through food. We understand that families and tradition often have food close to the center of them. We are hoping to build an extensive cookbook for our family, and want to continue to spread love and history through the meals we make our family for years to come. As our family and close friends, we hope you are willing to share your favorites with us. Fill out the card to the best of your ability (trust us when we say that we have fumbled our way through a far less in depth recipe than you could ever write down), and pop it in the book as your guest book entry.

Question

Weather Concerns?

Answer

It is predicted to be a wet and stormy winter. If you are concerned about making it to our corner of the country this time of year, we completely understand, and don't want you risking money and safety on us. We're happy to celebrate with you at a later time.
