Airbnb

New York City recently passed a law requiring short-term rentals like Airbnb to be licensed. You can still find many around Brooklyn, and there may even be people in our neighborhood "subleasing" their apartments for the holiday weekend that we can connect you with. If looking at Airbnbs, search in the neighborhoods of Downtown Brooklyn, Fort Greene, Boerum Hill, Clinton Hill, and Prospect Heights. If you're looking in Bedford-Stuyvesant or Crown Heights, we recommend looking for places west of New York Ave. Any further east and it'll be a longer train ride or car ride to the venue.

Flight

Laguardia Airport

Laguardia is about a 45-minute car ride from the hotel. We do not recommend taking public transportation between this airport and the hotel—you have to make a few transfers.

Flight

JFK Airport

JFK is about an hour's car ride from the hotel, depending on traffic. You can take public transit between this airport and the hotel somewhat easily. Take the AirTrain ($8.25 per person) to Howard Beach Station then the A train ($2.90 pp) to Jay Street Metrotech. It's a 0.5 mile walk from Jay Street Metrotech to the hotel.

Uber and Lyft

While it's easy to hail a cab in Midtown Manhattan, you won't find them just driving around in Brooklyn. We recommend downloading and setting up an account on Uber or Lyft to easily get to and from the airport and to get around the city.
